sidekickdmr Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 ive wanted a z for years but only picked up my new car this weekend, its a 2008 58 facelift 350z, only done 6,000 miles since new. Here is me doing the swap at the dealers And some pics of the car after its first clean Sorry about the pants pics, just on my iphone and doesnt do the colour justice! First reactions: It sounds unbeliveble, feels quicker than my r26 and delivers the power in a different manner (no waiting for boost, just power all the time). It does drink more fuel though, so far I have adveraged 23mpg. The colour attracts some attention too, its called temper orange and its a limited edition and they only made a handfull. All in alll im a very happy bunny! Quote
Raymondo Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Fantastic. I wish that I had mine. Quote
Will370z Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Congratulations on the purchase, lovely looking car there, nice condition. You will have to come along to some of the meet ups to show it off, there are more and more people joining from our area and its turning into a nice little group. Welcome to the forum Quote

bronzee Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Lovely Solar Orange/Temper. The colour really comes alive in bright sunlight doesn't it. Quote
Boycey Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Looks sweet, I've always liked the look of the R26, what is it like to drive, (might one day have to be the family car if my wife gets her way) Quote
sidekickdmr Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Cheers all Boycey, I loved the r26, I've actually had two, a liquid yellow and that glacier White! If I needed a family hatch it would get my vote! Quote
