ChrisUUC Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I am starting to love these alot. Had a look today whilst in work bored and I really think they would look awesome on a OEM+ styled 350z. Their offsets are good and they come is good widths as ive pasted in below. Only down side is they are only 18" max but would give the car a track/racer look I think ... rtbiscuit Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 might as well save your money and get some stock rays Quote
Ian Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I like them Get the offsets right & slam the car & it will look amazing Quote
ozwald Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Zed is the wrong type of car for these IMO, I've got some on my Celica, works if you're going for the rally sl*g look, not so much if you're not. Quote
Jak Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I like them Get the offsets right & slam the car & it will look amazing +1, 9's on the front with 10's on the rear would look tres bon How much are they anyway? Jak Quote
ChrisUUC Posted July 15, 2010 Author Posted July 15, 2010 Mixed thoughts as id thought ... Exactly my thinking ... lowering to top of the tyres with 9 up front and 10 on the rear would look awesome id of thought! I have stock rays at the moment just looking for other options for when I change ... Does anyone on here run dished 18's? Chris Quote
Ian Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 They are quite TE37ish, I can't see how any one would think they won't work Quote
Husky Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 meh.. thats what they make me feel. not exciting really, sorry Quote
Jak Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 They are quite TE37ish, I can't see how any one would think they won't work Again +1 This is exactly what i thought, the TE37 has got to be one of my favourite wheels - especially on the Z Jak Quote
chrisjones6699 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 meh.. thats what they make me feel. not exciting really, sorry +1 sorry Quote
M13KYF Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 get some second hand rays, cheaper, loads lighter and look the same Quote
Ian Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 get some second hand rays, cheaper, loads lighter and look the same He already has Rays & comps are pretty light weight Quote
Tomy Redeye Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I agree with Ian! Right offset and the car lowered they would look awesome! Quote
Digsy Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 comps are pretty light weight I don't know about these but some Comps are bloody heavy. Quote
ChrisUUC Posted July 15, 2010 Author Posted July 15, 2010 Compomotive got back and said ... Ok so the cost of 2 – 9x18’s and 2 – 10x18’s for the Nissan would be £750 gbp Not a bad price if you ask me ... Quote
ZEDEBY Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 You ain't mad you just got good taste.....they would look awesome.!!!! Quote
bodyboarder Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I like them mate but i dont think they look loads different from your rays...... I am thinking 30mm spacers on the back , roll the arches and lower 30mm.... should look oem but fatty fatty Quote
ben@RARE RIMS Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 One of my favourite wheels ever these Not light, but hard as nails, and look the business. Being available in a good choice of offsets is also a real winner! Quote
Steady Zeddy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I like the Comps as well - real track look to the car. I thought about getting a set of those for my Zed as trackday rims but eventually went with Rota Drifts (TE37 copies) as they are cheap and easy to replace and actually weight less than the 19inch LMGT's I ran. If you are going to run the comps make sure you run an aggressive offset (or spacers to help) - otherwise I don't think you'll pull off the look. Quote
