mattbowey Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 have bought a K1, its comes next tuesday. I have seen pics of them on the cars without a bumper tuck and have found guides on bumper tucking, also read mixed opinions about whether it looks good or not. i havent seen any pics of a K1 with a bumper tuck done and would like to see any pics of this if others have done it please. i dont think there is any point as there is no shiny big can to show off but if anyone has done it, pics please.... Husky Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 i think i remember seeing one with it done on a k1, it did seem odd as there is no shiny box. Quote
xStric9x Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I tucked mine when i had my k2, after a few problems with the exhaust i swapped it for a k1. All i will say is don't do it cause it certainly doesn't look right with no back box Quote
mattbowey Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 cool beans, thats good enough for me, no bumper tuck Quote
mattbowey Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 cheers for that, see what you mean theres a big open void of nothing. definately decided, no tuck. Quote
Ian Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 IMO a bumper tuck looks wrong on everything except a single exit Quote
Ian Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 yup They were invented for this everything else just looks wrong imo Quote
mattbowey Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 IMO the single exhaust looks too big and out of place. or did you mean the bumper tuck is so you can strap a building to the back of your zed more easily? Quote
fakeindian Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 even with this one?... nope thats sexual +1 nice new sig by the way Quote
Ian Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 IMO the single exhaust looks too big and out of place. or did you mean the bumper tuck is so you can strap a building to the back of your zed more easily? Thats because you & most other people here are a few years behind Single exits are the future Quote
mattbowey Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 is that so, will give it a few years to catch up and see if i change my mind unless twin exits are back in by then Quote
