JT1703 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Folks Having recently been taken round Knockhill by Alex in his beast which is fitted with CG Locks I thought that I would invest in one for myself which I did a couple of days ago. Whilst placing my order I contacted CG Lock UK to see if they would be willing to offer our club a discount which they have agreed to do and is now live on their website. Please see below info and link to the CG Lock UK website which provides a lot more detail , video clips , press releases etc : The CG-Lock... ... significantly enhances the safety, comfort & control in your vehicle ... was used in the latest 007 Bond movie Quantum of Solace and Top Gear Live! ... is ‘highly commended’ by the road safety charity BRAKE ... is recommended by healthcare professionals to reduce/eliminate back pain ... is ideal for securing your child in your booster seat - see the difference (2 min video) ... has a full money back guarantee http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/cg-lock/ The lock normally retails for £49.99 ( incl delivery within the UK ). I have managed to secure a 30% discount for the club. So : Price to Club members is now £34.99 ( incl delivery within the UK ) The current offer is valid until the 31st May ( but I am sure that I can arrange to have this extended if need be ). The Locks are available in stock in the UK for immediate despatch. Please contact myself to obtain the Discount Code which will be required when placing any orders on line. Cheers John Quote
rtbiscuit Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 That's a really good deal. I have the older version and it's a great piece of kit. I might invest in a new one for me, and shift the old one to the passenger side. Quote
JT1703 Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 Just let me know if you need the code Rich It was only after I placed my order that I spoke to them about the discount so I'll be buying a 2nd one at the club discount price Quote
Ekona Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 The new one is far superior to the old one Rich, definitely worth the upgrade. For anyone who hasn't got one of these yet, you're bonkers! They're absolute must-have pieces of kit if you intend on any quick driving, and being better held in your seat can only help improve your technique as well. Quote
JT1703 Posted April 12, 2010 Author Posted April 12, 2010 No probs folks Received mine on Friday so went for a wee spirited drive round the local country roads ( within the speed limites of course ! ). Very simple but effective bit of kit Quote
Chris`I Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 The new one is far superior to the old one Rich, definitely worth the upgrade. +1 I always thought the originals were a bit clunky, the redesign seems to have made them much more ergonomic Quote

UNABASHED Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Would it not be cheaper if this was set up as a proper group buy - when ordering it says that we get the club discount and then a further amount off if purchasing more than one at the same time? Quote
