annoying squeak

for the past couple of months every now and then i keep on getting a squeaking noise when i go over a bump. Its been driving me mad ive been checking the roof, suspension, drop links and just about everything else. But on my way home it started again. in anger i hit the door and it made that bloody noise. For some reason when the door is shut sometimes it makes a squeaking noise when going over bumps or if you push the door. So over the weekend ill be greasing all the parts up just wondering has anybody had this before or what parts will need greasing. at least ive finally found the cause now.

It might be your joints that are squeaking. Old age catching up on you - stop blaming i on the zed!

I get that too! Only had my Zed for about 4 weeks (3 1/2 weeks parked due to snow! ). I think it's coming from the strut brace across the boot. Have you check that?

ive spent about 3 months trying to figure out its the drivers door

You sure its the door and not the seat belt holder beside your pillar? Because mine does it now and again and its really frustrating. Been tempted to remove the holder.

Annoying squeak hey?........Husky, definitely Husky. Just check if he's hiden in the massive Zed boot somewhere.

Check to boot cover, (the bit of mesh on the bootlid that covers the front of the boot). I found that this squeaks, try removing it and see if it stops.

My seat belt holder on passenger side squeeks like jacr87 only when somebody has seat belt on though?

Had a squeak when going over bumps.

Even when parked up if I bounced up and down in my seat

 

Thought it might be drop links, but was just a wheel brace I kept behind the drivers seat that had slid forward underneath the seat

 

Hope yours is a similar silly thing and nothing costly
