Hi all,

Well first of all its nice to be here, and hope to post up loads of rubbish and unworthy posts :teeth: ( jk btw)

OK, I have been dreaming about getting one of these for well over 12 months, and finally had a look at one on the weekend, and totally fell in love with it after the test drive. I will be upgrading from my celica 190, to this Z and oh boy they don't half shift :yahoo:

I have been looking around for the azure blue and found this one here....

I decide to go to a garage as its the hp I will need along with my px.

Just wondering what some of you guys think (also if anyone has ever dealt with these guys before?) as this is my first Z, just hoping its around the right price. I have seen a lot of silver ones at a better price, but as my celica is silver I just fancy a change and think the blue is a very nice colour.

Cheers

Steve

Afew people have bought from them. Some good reports, some bad :)

Just on a side note, I asked them to change the wheels on it as they were a tad scabby and flaking. Asked then to put these ones on of another Z they had there.

Cool just up the road a bit....do you guys have any meets around this way at all?

We try to meet once a month with the South West lot. Next meet is at the end of the month at Cribbs Causeway.

Once the weather picks up a bit then I will start organising a few more

Looks pretty nice, and as previously said, slightly overpriced.

I would have kept the GT alloys, and asked for money off the price of the car so you could refurb them.

:welcome:

hmmm, good point didnt think of that, being a newbie, i wasnt sure what the deal was with the wheels, thought the others may have looked better on the car?

So im totally open to ideas.

do a general web search on s2000 4u. Not to put fear into your purchase but some people have had bad dealings with them just look on the s2000 forums and you will have some idea.

But then again you are buying the car and not the salesman! good luck with hunt

Not the best place to buy a Zed from as they have had some very bad reports, but just take someone with a bit of knowledge along with you when you do the final deal to make sure the car is up to scratch. As for the wheels you are asking them to put 17" jdm's on, replacing the 18" standard alloys? Your decision, if that is what you like, but you are basically downgrading!!! If the tyres have more tread on the 17's then go for it. The added benefit is the 17" tyres will be cheaper to replace. If you plan to upgrade the wheels anyway then go for the ones with more tread.

If you need a second opinion, i am available to view the car with you if that would help.

Well a quick update, after the few comments made by some of members here, and having a little dig around, I have decided not to to the deal with these ppl. TBH I wasn't really satisfied with the doggy salesman's approach to my requests. There were a few niggles with the car and work that had to be done for me to be totally happy (yes im a fussy bugger). As I was trying to explain to this useless man but he just seemed more interested in pointing out the things on the car of which I already knew. He didn't even make a small list of the work to be done. So this inspired huge confidence in them as a company (NOT)

My only gripe is that I had paid a £200 deposit, so now going to have to get that back off them some how.

Anyway, have yet found another blue one a tad further afield, this is a 54 plate with 52k (10k less than other car) fsh,12mts mot, plus this has the sat nav installed. The price is the same as the other car from S20004U, from who I would NEVER recommended this company to anyone. My partner spoke to the salesman telling him we no longer wanted to buy the car, and tbh he got quite aresy with her, not a helpful person at all.

So looks like im off for a 3hr drive on saturday to have a look at this new Z. Fingers crossed.

Hi steve, just like to say thanks for the input, and the offer of a second opinion, I would welcome a second opinion but as this is a 6hr drive all round I don't think I could put that on anyone, again thanks all the same

Is that a members car? Has the 06 LED lights & a stubby B)

I wouldnt have a clue, this one is all the way down in kent, if that helps anyone. If it is a members car then feedback on the car would be great :)
