Carbon Project Idea's?

Hi guys,

 

I have few ideas in the pipeline about what to do next with my little carbon venture, im going for unique parts that arnt made or parts that are hard and expensive to get hold of

 

my ideas are:

 

> brake/fluid top replacements (instead of the usual cover)

>Wing mirror bracket replacements

> B pillar replacements

> and im thinking of starting some boot plastic replacements - e.g the rear strut bar plastics to complement the carbon strut bar cover, like this bit

 

what do you guys think?

can anyone think of anything else that could be a popular choice of mod?

i know you can get carbon effect sticker but see if anyone would be interested?

or maybe speedo surrounds??

are you making these parts from scratch or are you skinning parts ?full door cards would be good.

lamby - you can buy the cubby from envy i think? i think its RSW parts?

 

im not sure if techCarbon are onto the door cards? hes working on most of the front interior at the moment

erm......

- carbon door handles interior/ exterior

- carbon side pillars (interior) (seat belt pillar)

- carbon A pillars (interior/exterior)

 

any of them help you

A pillars (interior) will be a good one i think, i know places sell them with pods but ive not seen anywhere that just do a replacement

i know there is currently a dial shroud for both the dials in the middle and the ones over the steering wheel, but i must admit i haven't been that impressed with the fitment of them, so a decent shroud for both would be good.

didnt cooper86 give all his interior to techcarbon to get made a while back, must be nearly sorted by now, i think it included the above, i dont want to step on other people shoes

What about replacement carbon b pillars with the poppers,instead of the stick on stuff.

Yeah but it's a stick on. Same as the plastic bits with the window controls, it's a stick on that affects the buttons.

all of the above iv seen before u need to take a new angle... how about carbon stubbys and head units? lol

 

thought of a name for ur company yet scott? and if u do a group buy for battery/brake fluid covers how much do u think theyl be and when? cheers

How aout carbon lep spoilers for the boot? As someone mentioned above the steering wheel control bits would be cool too

What about the silver Z part of the rear strut? thatd be nice in cf

the silver bit on the boot strut is already made, i was thinking about making the parts around that,

 

as for the battery/brake top Replacements(not covers) they will be approx 95 pounds including delivery, ive had a fair bit of interest in these so might start sooner than later

 

i wish i had thought of a name, im wrapping my brains trying to think, ill need it soon aswell

Ahh right,i thought the rear strut bit id spotted on here was that carbon effect stuff.lol. What about some of the dash parts that Envy sell as theyre pretttyyyy expensive.lol.

Id definately be up for a lip spoiler though at some point

If you can get a decent roof overlay for a decent price i think you would be onto a winner, the only ones available are around 400 odd quid which is rediculously overpirce IMO.
