drob Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 hi to all, in the process of gettin a new car i dont do alot of miles only 50miles a wk to work and back n occasional cruisin n nights out, completely love the 350z just for the fact it looks awesome n you dont see many, are they as bad as people say on fuel, travel to work is mostley through twisty windy roads. whatkind of mpg do people get books say 25mpg is it worse or better Quote
Chilli Red Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Hi and welcome :bye: can't blame you lovin' the Z. Worth the low MPG in my opinion. Quote
martinmac Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, the mpg depends on how the right foot feels and is well worth it. Stick some pics up bud and where are you from. Quote
Maccaman Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Hi & to the forum. MPG is a lot down to how you use the loud pedal. You may get less than 25, maybe 22/23 on that sort of journey. Motorway cruising will return 28/30. Driving a Zed though is more about the grin it puts on your face, take the plunge, you won't regret it. Quote
Stew Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 When I take the car to work it's mostly twisties. I can get it into the teens if I try but if I pull a steady 60 I can easily get mid 20s. If you are worried about fuel consumption then you're in the worng car....... Quote
givememorepower Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Why do so many people come on here, buy, think,or wonder about buying a tuned, 2-seater, 3.5 six litre, rear wheel six speed sports coupe......... and then start minging about fuel consumption?? What do they expect?? Buy a Skoda TDi, or a Diesel Micra - or just get on with it! Quote
sunset350z Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 forget the mpg, just enjoy the driving experience Quote
H5 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 It's a sports car, not a Polo! Enjoy it! Welcome to the club Quote
SunsetZed Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 to the club! Don't worry about fuel consumption, worry about the size of the grin it'll put on your face! Quote
