givememorepower Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Took some advice from you lot regarding wheel spacers and picked up that I need Eibach hubcentric's at the 20mm mark. Are there any out there that exceed this depth? Really keen on keeping my standard 18" alloys as they suit the car pretty good I reckon, but I want my car to look double FAT. I assume that I'd need to get some longer wheel bolts to compensate, is this necessary for the 20mm spacers too?? Can it be done? Quote
Beavis Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 What like this? Somebody should be along shortly to answer your question. Quote
Stew Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Nope. The hubcentric kit comes with everything you need. Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I have the 25mm spacers available too; however, I’d only use them if you were keeping stock ride height… Quote

The 25mm are also hubcentric, they bolt straight on, these are £208.00 delivered for all 4... Another popular combo, for stock height is 20mm front and 25mm rear, this is £205.00 delivered... Quote
GIXXERUK Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Oh! my God a 105E Ford Anglia :yahoo: vyv in the young ones had one Quote
givememorepower Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 That sounds pretty good to me. Am I gonna get a nasty gravel rash up my doors with these from normal driving? I'd be looking at 25 front and rear. Are 'hubcentric' and 'eibach' brand names for the same thing? I don't have paypal, so how would I pay you for them, and it would be after next weekend too I should think. I'll send digsy a message to see if he has the pics then Quote

MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Eibach are TUV approved… As for gravel rash, the wheels wont be protruding out of the arch, this might be more noticeable with the 25mm kit over the favoured 20mm kit… Quote
chazza Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I would go 20mm front and rear, that's what most go for and I certainly will be! Quote
givememorepower Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 So would I 100% rub with the 25mm 's if I did go low in the future then? Quote
JT1703 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 CS Paypal payment sent for the 2 x sets 20mm Eibach Spacers Cheers Quote

Standard ride height with 20mm front and rear spacers... looks good, am hopefully going to be getting that soon when i get some spacers. i'll be hopefully be doing 20mm spacers front and back. do ppl use the 20mm front and back set up with the eibach springs to lower as well? that will be my next step after the spacers. Quote
Adriank Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 yup thats how mine was before.... theres pics on here somewhere of how my car was on the 20mm spacers and eibach springs Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 The Eibach springs work hand in hand with the 20mm spacers... Quote
Stew Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I you can only afford to do one then spacers are the better mod in my opinion! The lowering only doesn't suit the standard wheels! Quote
