had ham Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Welcome Jenna :bye: You will feel overly protective - that's what motherhood/fatherhood does for you! I currently feel like poo as my '58 GT Coupe got crashed into by a sweet little old lady when it was only two weeks old in mid Feb. It's in the body shop getting fixed right now and should be back by Friday. I can then take the yellow ribbon down from the tree out front. Not really. I'm a sad case, but not that sad. Quote
bronzee Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009  Stew how bout this?! Good to see you're keeping him in line bronzee Lol, someone needs to. Hey Jenna, check in at http://www.zchickz.com, female owned and run forum, with only a few respectful guys. Quote
jerry3167 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Hi Jenna, I too am a New Z owner, well at least by next Wednesday. Already spent £££ on LED Lights, which you wont have to being a 58 plate. Jerry Quote
BulletMagnet Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 sry off topic, but if one were to display strong "metrosexual" tendencies, would that class them as a semi-sprinkle? (not speaking for myself ofc) Quote

Jenna Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 Not good hon, but could happen with any car.... Enjoy it when it's fixed! All done got it sorted me, nails and tyres seem to have a long standing relationship with every car I have ever owned needing a new one for this very reason. Rubbish!! Quote
had ham Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Might be an idea to stop driving around building sites, chippies yards, etc What did you pay for a new tyre? Best I ever had was £650 for four new 18s (same as original fit) for my old 06 Roadster... Quote

As long as it's not scum bag tyre shops ripping off because you're a female. Not every nailed tyre is beyond repair, but you know that anyway. Quote

Depends if you trust fixed ones too. I had a fixed one blow out on my on a rounderbout in my old Clio. Bloody moment! Would rather cough up the money for new tyres these days than have that happen again! Was probably a dodgy repair, but its enough to put me off. Quote
Hamster Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Hello and welcome! Being protective is normal.. Rob Quote
