Detailers - list of coverage areas?

Just an idea - could we get together a list of detailers and their coverage areas and maybe even an idea of basic prices?

prices are going to be very individual as depending what part of the country you live.

my price for a full deswirl , around the £200 mark guys just outside london start at around £3-400.

obviously experience comes into it and on the above list its hard to determine that

I don't really want the swirl correction or the paint depth stuff.

 

Just want my alloys cleaning properly (probably a big job) engine bay cleaning, exhaust polish and a real good clean and wax of all body panels.

 

Its my polished alloys that are the real problem.

 

Confusing all the valeting/detailing stuff

give you a rough idea of what id charge you for what you want

 

classed as a full valet £80 thats in and out and polished

engine bay £25

hope that will give you a rough guide

if you wanted the alloys done properly then id sugest taking them off,and if you did that on the day say i was there then i would charge any extra

Can cover All the UK but fuel surcharges/accomodation applies to work outside a 40 radius of PO8.

the list is just a guide tbh , but chances are if a detailer takes what he does seriously and is prepared to pay to advertise then you should be safe in getting someone who knows wat hes talking about

I agree that if they take it seriously they will pay to advertise yet i know one of the scotland detailers on that list is not a registered business (with hmrc) and also does not have liability insurance, so if he does make a mistake he is not covered by insurance.

yes and i agree, if someone has coughed up the fee it would of been better spent on getting the adequate insurance, but thats another issue of many there atm
