martinmac Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I dont think their is a definitive answer to this but here goes. These are my options and I am looking to steer clear of as much snow as possible. Tuesday. Cumbria to Fourwentways Travelodge near Stansted. M6, M61, M62 A1 A14. Or go straight down the M6 then over the A14 What do you reckon Quote
mbs Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 If it was me i would stay away from the east of the country for as long as possible, its in the east where most of the snow is forecast. Quote
martinmac Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Thinking maybe M6, M1 M25 then. Quote
Martin W Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 no snow in somerset apparently m6, m5, m4, m25??? You du eback on the icebreaker? Quote
nixy Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 as you'll be at Stansted Tuesday night you can text me with a weather update before I set off Weds morning! I'll be leaving here about 9am. (i know that doesn't help you but................) Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 If you possibly avoid it I would not attempt the trip at all Martin. Quote
