I understand that the current TV/SatNav in my car can't be converted to English but am seriously considering going tp these guys for a new one; http://soarer.tv/Nissan-Import-TV-Conve ... rsions.htm They're asking £799 - any thoughts on how this compares to others? I also searched high and how for new buttons and found this site - only issue being they won't ship outside the US!! Any thoughts on where I might find these available in the UK (Or with someone who will ship here?) http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/ ... atalogid=2 On a side note in the last few weeks a 'PIT' sign has appeared on my SatNav screen - am I safe to assume this just means a service is due? It will include screen remote disc drive and wiring harness. Should be easy to go at the weekend If this interest you pm me an offer. kingbiscuit Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 Just buy a UK cars DVD Rom unit from ebay. Range from £200-£350, Plug it in and away you go. Ask IanS16 he did it to his. Keeps a nice clean OEM install. You dont have to buy the DVD Rom from a 350z either. I think he got his from a Nissan patrol. He'd be better off selling the whole lot as a working system. Yeah - I did think that. But I doubt paul will be able to sell the whole system. The DVD drives are like gold dust but I doubt anybody would really want to wire the whole thing In and then install the screen & DVD drive too.
