JohnMcD Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 I am currently looking at buying a used 350Z. Have approx £13k to spend. Any tips on what I should be looking for and what I should get for my money? Thank you in anticipation! Quote
M13KYF Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 you will find a handy guide on what to look for in the FAQ section http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5091 to the club Quote
Lexx Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Plenty of cars on the market, so hold out till you find the perfect car at the right price for you. It'll be out there somewhere! Quote
martinmac Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum. There are a few nice cars on here which should give you a bit of reassurrance as to their condition. They will usually have been very well cared for. Best of luck with the search. Quote
bronzee Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Welcome, and look around, take a few for a blast, before settling on one. Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Hi and Plenty of good buys out there at the moment so no need to rush. Quote
p1tse Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 have a hunt about. £13k will find a nice one, but over the last month i've seen quite a few in the £10k's 03-53 plates with below average miles if paying that i would be prepared to hold out and get the 296bhp model, as they have a slightly revised interior Quote
p1tse Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 here's an example of a private uk gt model 04 plate with low mileage sub £10k http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/745610.htm Stratstone BMW 2004 04 Reg NISSAN 350Z 3500 cc 3.5 V6 3dr (trade) 40k @ £10.5k Holdcroft Nissan 2004 04 Reg Nissan 350Z 3500 cc 3.5 V6 3dr (trade) 25k @ £11.9k prices really do vary alot from £10-15k! Z Boy Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Check out mine in the for sale section if you like, I'd probably be willing to meet nearer your budget. Quote
PEyeball Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Bought mine 6 moths ago - best advice is don't necessarily buy the first one you see. Its tempting as its easy to get blown away or caught up in the excitement but there really are some good offers around. FYI i bought JDM from trade 6 months ago with 30K and all the toys for £13K but it will go a LOT further now...bit gutted really but couldn't have known back then! Quote
