drewbie Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Just wanted to say a proper goodbye to everyone that turned up - I couldn't do the final services stop as we had to get back to our abandoned daughter for 6pm. It was a great day with fantastic weather and it's a shame a few more didn't make it. Special thanks as always to the organiser - great event again. Roll on next May for the next one.
Rentech Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Fantastic day out and great weather to boot. The first time I've been able to test out the Zed properly since getting it in August. Thanks to Beavis for organising the day and a pleasure to meet the rest of you (though didn't get to chat to everybody). We shot off before the end, did a quick lap of the Horseshoe pass before heading off back to Birmingham. A pretty good drive back aswell. Off to check the photos that the wife took (so will probably be deleting most of them ). Can't wait to see what others took aswell. Looking forward to the next one already.

Big heads up Beavis & the rest of the team for all their work organising today. Was great to meet everybody (new & old) Wasn't impressed with PC Plod ranting at me (with spittle flying) & found ironic that he came flying out of a pub to chastise us. Looking forward to the next one & I'm sure we can achieve 50 cars.

I thought it was a well behaved convoy! I did miss the last stop as I got confused but I think i'd have needed to head back around then anyway. Thanks to all those who made it happen

Thanks to Dave and Martin (and other team members of course!) for getting it organised, and thanks to all the members for attending it and making it what it is. None of these shows and events would happen without people getting involved. Phil, the drinks were very much appreciated. Great scenery, great weather, great cars One cheeky question, if anyone has any specific pictures of me / Becca / the car, can you post them or PM me please? We forgot our camera Thanks!

Sorry I had to break the bad news this morning and hold up the convoy, but ddnt think you'd like to park in the lake! Good substitute car park we found though. Was excellent to do the Evo triangle at full speed, even managed to keep up a good convoy all the way round, well done to Beavis for ushering us all around Rob - Amanda took just a "few" pics of your car on the way back, think I'll have to stick em on CD for ya
