There was no way I could get my hand down the minute gap created when I took off the top headlight bolt . Whether that's a JDM thing or not I don't know. It was much easier to peel back the wheel arch liner and access it from there with pliers. Job done now and looks so much better - thanks Mike. YHTM Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 Thanks for coming clean Paul!! To others considering it I would recommend a DIY job with the headlights if you have a suitable space. There were fiddly bits but it was fairly basic with no specialist tools needed. As well as the satisfaction of completing the job it was a good learning experience and gives an insight into other future jobs that may involve removing the bumper. Number 1 good idea?? Jacking the car up creates more space in the wheel arch area as well as underneath the bumper. Number 1 bad idea?? Trying to do it outside at night! I would want the orange reflector removed (maybe painted grey?) and the LED's installed. How much would I be looking at for this work to be done? Also- do you provide any sort of garuntee on the life of the LED's? I know they are pretty durable and your work looks top notch, but things can always go wrong! I had the first set of the current style made and have had a few minor issues with it being the 'prototype' if you like. Paul has been excellent and has actually chased me to get the things fixed!
