Was't sure whether that was legal or not - damn, wish I had known beforehand! Don't think I can face removing the bumper again for a while!!

if you have slim hands you can loosen of the top fixing point and squeeze your hand in and twist the holder out to remove the bulb  - a little handy hint i got from Big Phil :teeth:

Either Phil employs child labour or he pays his staff so little they can't afford to eat!!! There was no way I could get my hand down the minute gap created when I took off the top headlight bolt . Whether that's a JDM thing or not I don't know. It was much easier to peel back the wheel arch liner and access it from there with pliers.

Job done now and looks so much better - thanks Mike.

Thanks for coming clean Paul!!

To others considering it I would recommend a DIY job with the headlights if you have a suitable space. There were fiddly bits but it was fairly basic with no specialist tools needed. As well as the satisfaction of completing the job it was a good learning experience and gives an insight into other future jobs that may involve removing the bumper.

Number 1 good idea?? Jacking the car up creates more space in the wheel arch area as well as underneath the bumper.

Number 1 bad idea?? Trying to do it outside at night!

Hi Paul-

I am from Essex and was wondering if you could do this to my JDM 2003 HID lights?

I would want the orange reflector removed (maybe painted grey?) and the LED's installed.

How much would I be looking at for this work to be done?

Also- do you provide any sort of garuntee on the life of the LED's? I know they are pretty durable and your work looks top notch, but things can always go wrong!

Thanks,

David

I'll vouch for this. I had the first set of the current style made and have had a few minor issues with it being the 'prototype' if you like. Paul has been excellent and has actually chased me to get the things fixed!

Very good approach and excellent to deal with.

Great product too. It does look awesome!

Believe me, if it was crap service etc I would also say that.

I am very quick to complain if something isn't right however if something is done well praise will be offered!

Like you did with O2 :teeth::thumbs:

Yep. I also praised the lovely customer retention lady who sorted me out too! :yahoo:
