There is a technical service bulletin (TSB) out against it. It was something to do with part of it needing greasing iirc. Try doing a search on my350z for it, you should be able to find the TSB in pdf format telling you how to sort it :)

I had a similar problem and searched for ages for a fix. I even tried spraying light oil on every metal joint under there, but to no avail. Eventually I discovered that if I move the seat belt buckle a bit forward, the noise disappears!

Mine's the same. I did get the dealer to look at the seat last year, but they couldn't find anything. Since then I've been convinced its the seat belt, cos the noise stops if i either hold it forward or (ahem) take the seat belt off for a split second.

 

I just haven't gotten annoyed by it enough yet to get the WD40 out..

 

Would be interested to see how you sort yours out tho...
