What is this in my center console?

Hi guys,

 

I have this device in my center console and was wondering what it is? Was going to install some cup holders and just wanted to know what this was before I took it out. Did a search for the part number and nothing really came up. Maybe something to do with a phone system?

It's for the blue tooth device, but the actual blue tooth transponder is missing. Wouldn't worry about it, they were / are useless with today's tech.

Still worth getting one from Zmanalex so you can be hands free on your phone through the in car phone speaker.

Check for compatability with your phone though first, quite a few comments about certain phones not working (including my old iphone back a few years when I have my zed).

Hi I could not get mine to work so in the end changed head Inuit to connect wirelessly and wired up a lightning charging cable into center console

That's a very shiny centre console
