Hi All,

I have noticed with the colder weather that when you first jump in the car 1st and 2nd are sticky and a little hard to select. Almost feel like I am forcing them. Once the car warms up they go in like butter. Any other mk2 nismo owners experiencing this?

Very common across all manual 370's.

 

New gearbox oil and some molyslip can help aid selecting gears but you'll never get rid of the problem. Just something you have to get used to

My 05' 350z has similar tendencies for 2nd gear when cold, fitting a weighted knob and extender really helped - plus looks nice.

Another characteristic of the car then lol! Not really a big issue, as long as it doesn't get worse.

Looks diff thats for sure ;) I prefer it all compact personally.

Absolutely normal when temps drop - in fact if the change was not stiff when cold I would be concerned as to whether the viscosity in the box was correct.
