lct Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Morning, I'm wanting to change all of my drop links to get rid of a slight but annoying creaking, but after much searching can't really work out what the consensus is on what to spend. There's dirt cheap ones on eBay, is it a case of getting what you pay for? Should I fight my urge to be thrifty and buy expensive ones? And if so, which? Thanks in advance :) Quote
Mambofever Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Whiteline drop links are very popular and haven't heard any complaints about the quality. As for price, Pm @Adrian@TORQEN and see if he still has his forum offer going on. I believe he is away this week though. 1 Quote

SHEZZA Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Unless you’ve got uprated anti roll bars I’d just keep it genuine oem PM @Ewen@Clark Motorsport Quote

lct Posted October 31, 2018 Author Posted October 31, 2018 I'm on 71k. It's been a bit creaky since I got the car on 60k though I just haven't got round to doing them, I'm guessing they're still original ones. Quote
scobie140 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 My whiteline drop links only lasted about two years,I didn't think it was them that failed so bought the replicas off ebay just to try and see if they eliminated the knock and they have been spot on with no issues. its a easy job to change them thats why I took the easy option first. Because they are adjustable then even if the cheapo ones don't last all i'll have to replace is the rose joints which are pretty cheap for top spec ones. I don't track the car so mine won't get the same abuse that some members will achieve 1 Quote

mr v6 Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I replaced the NSF on mine last year with a Blue Print one I got from work, was about £10 from memory. Easy enough job to do. Quote
napp Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 tbh I went mid range as a simple job to change. cant see the point spending big bucks on them. Quote
