Removing wax from black trim

This isn't particularly Zed related but do any of you guys have product/method reccomendations for removing wax stains from unpainted black trim? 

 

Gave the girlfriends new car (Fiesta Mk7) a wash, clay, polish & wax at the weekend but wasn't careful enough when applying the wax, now I can't get it off

A pencil rubber or peanut butter (smooth).

Black permanent marker.

IPA wipedown or glass cleaner will do (if it's textured plastic, use a brush rather than a cloth). Or, as Stu suggests, a pencil eraser will shift it if you can get into the texture with it. I'd recommend peanut oil rather than peanut butter (less likely to leave different marks) but either will work.

Cheers for the replies all, I'll give some glass cleaner with a toothbrush a go! I'm a bit dubious of using food products or stationary on a car

Definitely +1 for a pencil rubber. Works wonders!
