Outdoor car cover

Hi, new to the forum so apologies in advance if I'm posting in the wrong area...... getting ready to take delivery of 370z (whoooohooo) and looking for a outdoor car cover. any recommendations from anyone? Don't really want to spend hundreds but happy with £100 - £150. Cheers

 to the forum, regarding the cover best to stick with genuine Nissan for the perfect fit, however, Halfords top of the range is a decent universal cover.

Personally I'm not a big fan of car covers at all but if you do have to or want to use one always make sure that the car has been cleaned well before putting the cover on.

Sure...... I think I'm going to 'restore' and re-treat the roof - intending to use Raggtopp and delay the decision on the cover for now.

Having used covers for several years my advice is that a decent but inexpensive cover that you replace every couple of years is the best bet. I used the Halfords large version for several years with no issues.  If you spend hundreds on an expensive cover it could still get damaged.  The Halfords one is pretty good quality and won't harm your paintwork as long as the car is clean when you put it on.

Have now picked up the car..... very impressed. Used Raggtopp to clean an re-protect the roof (would deffo recommend) and maguaires polish and liquid wax on the paintwork. Decided against the cover for now.
