Phil739 Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 what do people recommend on getting leather seats looking fresh I have some wear appearing on the bolster drivers side which is cracking thanks Quote
Stutopia Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I’m feeling Dr Leather wipes at the minute, they clean well and smell manly, but they’re more maintenance than repair. I’ve heard some retailers use shoe polish, but never braved it myself. If you want to really give it ago, there’s kits out there like https://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/How_To_Restore_A_Leather_Car_Interior 1 Quote
nipwahh Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 +1 for Dr Leather wipes to clean and restore the matt leather finish. Quote
mr v6 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Another for Dr. Leather wipes, I then nourish them with Juicy Details cream & buff off any excess once it's been absorbed. Quote

coldel Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Worth noting that any cream-based conditioners do not work on modern car leather (post 1990) due to the sealing process of modern leathers in cars which is in effect a top coat preventing any penetration of the cream. By all means look after the leather with regular cleaning and wiping down etc. but cream-based conditioners are a waste of money unfortunately. 2 Quote
5tu Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I'll have to penetrate my cream elsewhere then 3 Quote
