I want swap out my HFCs for Decats and the Invida system I have but DB limit on track days could be an issue. Has/can anyone DB test this set up if the have it? GMballistic Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 I ran Berks De-Cats and an Invidia Gemini exhaust system on my DE Zed (although it was also supercharged). I passed the 100dB static test (1/2mtr @4.5K rpm) at Castle Combe although later in the day I was pulled in for another noise test as my Zed was too loud for the driveby dB noise checks. Do you know what dB limits you'll be facing Tom as it can differ between circuits. Jetpilot Posted October 31, 2016 Share Posted October 31, 2016 Your always going to push db limits if you decat, I was on the limit at Bedford with a very similar true dual exhaust and hfc's and at Combe where gm was pulled I never had an issue.
