Engine Cover with Plenum Spacer

Hi guys,

 

Just a quick question today:

 

Does the stock 350Z DE engine cover fit back on once a plenum spacer is fitted?

 

Reason I ask is that my Zed had a plenum spacer fitted by a previous owner but it doesnt have the stock engine cover. Instead it has the Rare JDM harness cover.

 

IMO the engine bay looks better with the stock engine cover than the Rare JDM harness cover. But before I go and waste money on an engine cover I was wondering if the reason the cover was removed was because it doesnt fit back on when a plenum spacer is fitted.

 

Tried a quick search but couldnt find the answer.

I've got my old oem engine cover sitting gathering dust in my shed you can have for free, it's fine physically but in need of refurbished paint wise ( not painted by me lol), I'll even post it free of charge down to you. I replaced it with a hydro dipped job from Ricey@revolveautomotive.

Just got this back from the paint shop:

 

 

I shouldve taken a before and after as the paint job before was...erm...special hahaha. Looks alot better and will get it fitted at the weekend and take some more snaps. Huge thanks to Irn Bru for the cover
