Justthejedi Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 As per the title guys, I'm getting a rear vibration which I can feel through the seat @ 80mph+ and it doesn't clear. On a scale of 1-10 (10) being severe....I would say it's a 4-5. I have had the rear wheels balanced x3 times by different tyre places and they are spot on, no buckles, everything is round and true. Also had the tracking and camber done so everything is now where it should be. Tyres are also fine, no bulges, splits etc. Any ideas on what could be causing this?......anybody had this with their car? Cheers Justin Quote
d95gas Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 My last car, which was also RWD, I went through a period where I was getting vibration through the floorpan and seat, which is general indication of rear wheel balancing. Went through 3 different garages to balance the wheels to perfection and still got vibration. Finally manage to find the culprit which was a worn bush on one of the rear arms. Replaced that, and all was sweet. Might be worth getting the bushes checked out for any adverse movement. Quote

Are they oem wheels ? yep, oem wheels. I have a sloping drive so cannot jack the car up, have to take to a garage for anything that needs checking/doing. Quote
