DRL replacing front reflectors

Finally got round to installing a set of lights replacing the front reflectors.

Really happy with them!

Those are the sort I am after (some seem to shine left and right rather than forward)... where did you get them from?

I got mine from eBay off a seller called: hawktools2012

Unfortunately doesn't look like he has anymore for sale but maybe worth contacting him?

I know veeg has done this mod to his and they do look fantastic.

 

Think you need better sidelights now though as the DRL's are showing them up.

Pre-facelift model reflectors are facing left/right whilst the face-lift ones are more front facing like OP's pic.

Looks great but was always lead to believe drl s should dim once side lights are turned on........added a simple cheap relay available on eBay when I fitted mine

I dont make them any more, it's not worth the time/effort. But i'm happy to do a guide if anyone wants to have a bash at making some themselves... it's really easy.
