JakeeyB Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Engine light came off just after filling up with petrol? Used shell like always. Car drives like it has no problem. I have got berk hfcs on but been on for months without any issue. Any ideas what it could be? Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Must be the Berks causing it, O2 sensors. Do the pedal dance see what code you get, helps if you video it with your phone so you can count / check the error. That's if you don't have an OBD reader / scanner. Quote

GMballistic Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Should never assume with the EML coming on as it could be anything causing it to light up, ...but as Adrian above says my money would be on the Berks HFC's causing it. Best to get the code read or read it yourself (pedal dance AKA ECU reset) though just to check to be sure. Had the code checked & cleared but after that point the EML would come on fairly regularly. Always down to the cats. I got the pedal dance down to a fine art though for switching it off. Eventually though I had it sorted when I had my first UpRev done. Quote
Zeezeebaba Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) I've had continual issues since the Berks were fitted. Went for about a month then bam once every couple of weeks. Easty Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Mine came on the other week, did the peddle dance reset and it's been fine since! Give it a try before going paying for it to be plugged in, if it comes back after then I'd go get it checked Quote
