grahamc Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 *Singer I know they build some awesome cars with utterly great price tags Quote
brillomaster Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Technically its a Porsche Reimagined by Singer. And its probably just me, but i'd rather have a new Porsche and £300k in the bank rather than a Singer one... Quote
Ekona Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Tend to agree with you. As much as I love those cars, and I'm glad they exist, for me I just couldn't go there. That said, anything with a Porsche badge and an air-cooled engine is silly money these days. I'd take a 964 coupe and a 458 instead of a Singer. Quote
grahamc Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I do prefer the older Porsches, but I just cannot justify the pricetag, let-alone what Singer charge.... saying that, their cars are a work of art! As above though, old car, new car and house in the mountains Quote
Flex Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) Didn't they make sewing machines? Edited November 30, 2015 by Flex 1 Quote
brillomaster Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Yeah, in the same way Maclaren also make brilliant baby strollers... 1 Quote

Toon Chris Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I know naff all about Porsches and to me it looks like a Porsche. Granted there may be lots of technical changes but it doesn't look 'reimagined' to me. What's different? Quote
Ekona Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Everything. Custom bodywork, custom engine, custom interior, custom suspension... It's a whole new level of personalisation. That car pictured would've been around £400K. Quote
Flex Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Didn't they make sowing machines? No. They make sewing machines That's what I wrote, why did you change it when you quoted me Quote
