Zedrush Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Did you have the internals forged running at that BHP? Quote
urbanmyth Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 No the car can take 400Bhp if mapped and set up correctley. Quote
CDD300ZX Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 No the car can take 400Bhp if mapped and set up correctley. Hi, stunning looking car is manual trans or auto?? Quote
Zedrush Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 No the car can take 400Bhp if mapped and set up correctley. but its on the limit at that bhp no? Quote
Chris`I Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 No the car can take 400Bhp if mapped and set up correctley. but its on the limit at that bhp no? I beleive that is quoted as the highest you can go safely and reliably. Ie you could go higher on stock internals, but they you will start to run into trouble. 400 is known as a safe power output. WRCT-2 Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 The BHP is not what breaks these engines. They usually break when they run over 420Lb-ft torque. Most have failed at or above these levels. The torque in isolation does not do it but it does not help matters. Allan Quote
