  1. Almost as much inuendo as a gear knob thread.
  2. I think it's a very shrewd move by Fergie,a bit like when they brought Larsson in for a few months. Owens record for goals is very good and I think with the service United provide this should continue if not get better. Only question mark is his fitness, but if he is on performance related pay then in my opinion it's a win,win situation.
  3. I usually get "you know it's going to rain"or"what's the 2 buckets for" My neighbour likes to keep his TT clean and when he sees me using something new asks me to get him some, wonder if he wants some of these.
  4. Wonder how he got to 328bhp.Hhmm
  5. Bought some of these the other week and decided to give them a try today.I bought them for applying dressings to the wing mirror brackets and also the window seals.Turned out they do a very good job with very little mess. I must admit that they are larger than i thought. From the web site pic i was expecting to get 1 maybe 2 fingers in at most but all 4 will fit. Anyway here is the link if anyone is interested. http://www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk/shop/v ... uct_id=147
  6. I would not say it was noisy all the time.It is louder on tick over than standard but thats what you want.It comes alive over 3,000 revs when you floor it,but at motorway speeds you can hardly hear it. If your worried about it being to chavvy, dont be its nothing like the saxo boys have on theirs.
  7. You won't be dissapointed with the pro racer.Had mine on for over 12 months now and it still makes me smile when I boot it over 3,000 revs. Mine was a lot cheaper, but that's down to the exchange rate.

  13. I know it's a bit expensive, but when you consider a pro detail is in the region of £300,I think it makes sense. That's the excuse I will be giving the mrs when she asks,if I get one.

  17. Just seen this on Polishedbliss web site. Might put an end to putting swirls back into my paint. Black Baron Vehicle Dryer Some modern paint finishes seem to be highly susceptible to marring no matter how carefully they are treated, and drying them off after washing poses two key problems. Firstly, there is always the danger when working outside that fresh airborne contaminants may settle on the car after rinsing off. Wiping the car dry with a microfibre drying towel can then result in these contaminants causing marring as they are trapped by the towel and then drawn across underlying surfaces. Secondly, as paint is dried off, all lubrication is effectively removed, meaning that the friction between the towel and the paint increases. This in itself can be enough to cause marring in some paint finishes. The solution to both problems outlined above is to cut out any wiping of the paint. It is possible to pat dry a car using a microfibre drying towel in only a little more time than that required to wipe it dry. By not wiping, any fresh contaminants are not moved around over the paint, and towel friction is reduced to a minimum. A further option that cuts out towel contact and any risk of marring completely is to use an air blower to dry the car off. Dedicated vehicle dryers work extremely well in this respect, and this is a method we have now adopted into our own wash routines, as we believe it significantly helps to reduce the risk of inflicting defects during the drying process. The Black Baron Vehicle Dryer is made by the Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Company, and features a powerful 4 hp dual ball bearing motor and twin fan drive that delivers a peak airflow rate of just over 330 mph! The air being drawn into the unit is fully filtered for safety and then gently warmed by heat from the motor, thus aiding the drying process. The Black Baron Vehicle Dryer comes with a 3 m heavy duty hose, a non-scratch neoprene blower nozzle and three additional attachments, including (i) an airflow streamer (for drying large panel areas); (ii) an airflow maximiser (for blowing out door shuts, and; (iii) a precision micro-nozzle (for directing the airflow into tight spots and crevices). In addition, the Black Baron Vehicle Dryer is supplied with a wall/bench mounting bracket that allows you to hang the dryer on your garage wall or mount it on your workbench, plus three spare charcoal filters and a two year return to base warranty. A tool like the Black Baron Vehicle Dryer is certainly an indulgence, but it works incredibly well, and vastly outperforms cheaper options such as domestic leaf blowers. With a bit of imagination, it can also be made to serve many other useful purposes too; we use ours to not only dry the vehicles we detail, but also to blast polishing dust out of door shuts and scoops, and blow dust and debris out of interior vents and seat runners. Combine all of this with the smile it will put on your face, and it becomes a priceless bit of kit to have. Detailing just got a whole lot more fun!   Black Baron Vehicle Dryer Comes as standard with a 3 m heavy duty hose, a non-scratch neoprene blower nozzle, three additional airflow attachments, a wall/bench mounting bracket, three spare charcoal filters and a two year return to base warranty. Price:   £192.77 (Including VAT at 15%) OUT OF STOCK   terms and conditions       payment security       delivery information       returns policy       privacy policy © 2009 Polished Bliss Ltd All Rights Reserved       Need help or advice? 21. I have used it Mike, but I got the kit with polish, wax and sealant.I would put it in the same league as my Swissvax Best of Show wax,but does require a couple of layers to achieve the same results. Don't think you will be disapointed.
