  1. Pictures added Think the cubby door needs painting though...
  2. Well I just treated myself to a new set of boots and a 4 wheel Hunter Hawkeye alignment. The car feels ten times better to drive now. It always does after being realigned!! The geometry was so far out! Will post up some pics when I'm on my laptop. Some settings were so far out they were off the scale!! Lol So 4 new Falken FK452's and alignment for £645 pretty reasonable I think and no hassles. Also have just finished something I've been working on for quite a while ;-) to be fitted tomorrow morning.!

    Japspeed K1 / K2

Hi mate someone was selling an Invidia N1 recently may still be for sale: see here viewtopic.php?f=32&t=49805&hilit=invidia The K1 is a copy of the N1 effectively
  4. I used 3 x 3mm numberplate sticky pads (as mentioned above) form eBay, 1 on each end and one in the middle because of the curve - never moved since I put it on ianphampton - It makes illustration pics so much better when you have an invisible friend to hold the tools Thank you
  5. Hi mate, just wondering what you used to stick yours on to your front bumper? I prefer a real plate over the sticker. Cheers Steve
  6. Thats what I'm looking to do when I get my new front bumper, I don't want to be putting holes in it!
  7. Glad I could help mate and glad you got it sorted Yes I agree centering the window is a massive PITA!
  8. Personally I prefer the pre-face lift interior. Well except for the heater controls the face lift ones are shiny I'm just not a fan of the massive silver bit around the gear stick. However, I have nearly finished 'modding' my interior pics will be posted sooon

Hi, thats a really good price , I've got lots of bills at the moment including: Front Bumper Skirts Insurance Tyres So I may not have enough when this goes through depending when the above happens but at that price its such a bargain I'm putting my name down. Thanks Steve
  10. Thanks very much Need lots of bits for my car at the moment and got the insurance due next month too so I'm currently juggling funds. Need 4 new tyres, a new bumper a new undertray, insurance ...... never ending. At least the tax aint due til Decemeber
  11. Thanks folks. Whilst the carbon one does look cool I'm not sure how it would stand up to the battering mine keeps getting on the 'local' country roads I have near me Alex sent you a PM. Thank you
  12. I got £10 for a celica gt4 CAT from a scrap place, that was after ringing round a few. I was expecting more
  13. After my little flying experience at Cadwell park a few months back I need a new undertray for when I get my new front bumper. I'm not getting another Plastic one from Nissan because; 1) They probably charge a small fortune for one 2) Quite a few of the fixing bolts have become seized and snapped of (planning to drill these out and re-tap soon) 3) Will help support the bumper a little Are there any suppliers in the UK of Alu undertrays? Not neceseraily Z Speed. I did a search and found a thread from many moons ago about a member making some but it looked like he was after Z speed prices for his version which seems a false economy. I've searched ebay and found a couple of guys in the US who make their own. I'm considering making my own to be honest and using the OEM one as the template. However due to having very little time at the moment I'm thinking about buying one but it doesn't seem Z Speed do them anymore And I couldn't find any in the Z Store. Any suggestions for a UK supplier? A UK copy supplier or a place I can import one from? Thank you Steve

    Bumper Materials

Thanks folks, it seems I was right regarding the fibreglass. Well I don't 'plan' on hitting things but there are always then times when some idiot makes you or reverses into you in a car park Polyurethane sounds good I'll have a think.
  15. Is fibreglass a good material for bumpers to be made from? To me it seems a bit hard having virtually no give which would suggest it will crack easily? The OE bumpers seem to be made of a weird resin type substance which has a fair bit of give. Having been looking for a front bumper for a while and trying to make my mind up . . . . Many places offer GRP or FRP and the odd few offer urethane which doesn't seem at all like a good material for a bumper.... Interestingly the Nismo ones are Fibre Glass, maybe I'm just reading too much into the situation as always and over thinking . . . . .
  16. I'd have taken these off you if I lived close by. If you decide you are willing to post them give me a shout please. #Thanks Steve
  17. That problem is to do with the ribbon cables that run from the CD unit to the audio outputs. There is a fix on here involving stripping the whole unit. I did it and it lasted 6 months before it went back to left speaker cut out. IMHO the BOSE unit is utter gash so I Ipod hacked mine and now have a Nano which lives in the car. No more speaker cut out or skipping issues
  18. New clutch at 30K I'm on 63K and still going strong, he says holding the largest piece of wood ever
  19. Well my £10 ebay jobs are awesome. Would definitely recommend them. Delivered quickly perfect fit, work a treat. Even ordered some for the GF's car and the old man's! Least there are still 'some' baragins to be found on ebay....
  20. Well I have also just invested the £10 off ebay I'll let you know how they go once they arrive. I have been in the market for some new ones. Thank you for posting the link saved me the effort of looking, i'm a right lazy sod though
  21. No chance the price only dropped off due to the recession and the reduced demand for the black stuff. Now China and India are fully back up and running the sky high price for oil will remain and as such so will the £6.50/gallon petrol prices. I'm never selling my zed its not worth the loss. I'm getting a second car and going FI.......eventually ............. when I've saved enough.
  22. The duties depend on how he ships them. The duties can either be paid by the seller or recipient it just depends whether he sends them DDP (duties paid in advance) or DUP (duties unpaid - recipient responsibility).
  23. I don't use engine flushes and I never have. The double oil method is best. However I always use millers CRX 10w-40 ester based synthetic oil and when the oil change comes around its usually still quite 'clean' i.e. goldy coloured so I don't feel the need for it. If it were black black I might consider it but then you need to be aware of removing any carbon deposits that might actually be helping prevent leaks.
  24. So, are we going to hear around Wales this Sunday and you going to let me have your food order viewtopic.php?f=57&t=49337 Hi Colin, Please accept my apologies I haven't been keeping up to date with the goings on of the Wales meet.
