I have been having a few issues with my drivers side window, would go down very slowly and today whilst i was 30 miles from home it decided to stop working all together fully down the only saving grace was the weather! So i drove to the nissan garage in Northwich, good bunch of guys actually and then he gave me the price for the parts, for the motor and regulator (worse case scenario, over £500 plus fitting and vat!!!!) I didnt know what to do, they couldnt fit it in this week and obviously i couldn't lock the car and its not garaged. I drove off, smacked the door in rage and the window went up!! Its now taped up so i cant use it so panic over i can still make the meet on Saturday! And it gives me some time to try and soruce some cheaper parts prices. The salesman did make me laugh when he asked if i'd done anywork to the engine on mine. I said only a filter as the ECU's cancel out any major gains. He then laughed and said it depends who you know and that his mate at middlehurst can get 450bhp out of them without changing much at all I just nodded and pretended to sound amazed! anyway sorry for the long story!

there shouldn't be any shortage for demand for these, they really do transform the looks of the Zed. Not cheap to refurb though so you might want to consider this. Good luck with the sale

just because they dont wave at other cars doesn't mean they are not enjoying or are not bothered about the car I'll look out for you Stan and wave frantically, infact i'm in Manchester later

shoot it seriously though, i dont think theres anything you can do. I suppose a car cover but it would be a pain putting it on every night

i had the same thought as you about two months ago, shall i get an impreza that is seriously fast but then i just know after about a week of driving it like a hooligan and enjoying the single figure fuel consumption i would just get bored of that and miss the looks and style of the Zed. I constantly get bored with my cars, sell them, lose a fortune and then realise that i should have just kept what i had. The zed is such a good mix of performace, looks, noise that it will be with me for many more years to come. If on the other hand you need 4 seats then i probably would get an impreza as you cant really go faster for the money!

i think carbon black looks navy in the light. Honda nighthawk black is stunning in the light, has flecks of purple, green and blue

Cheers for the opinions guys, i just hate the image that goes with the iphone where as the nokia is less flashy. I might just get the iphone then sell it? They seem to go for good money, any takers?

Time to upgrade and i've narrowed it down to these two phones, so just thought id see if anyone has experience of either of them and what they are like to live with? Cheers

ahhhh now i understand! that will look lovely, if anything i would spray the centre of the wheels in gunmetal which would look on a white car.

i've heard the same horror stories about powdercoating wheels but i asked the people that did mine and they say they have never had a set of wheels come back to them for cracking (they have done over 10,000 sets, wouldn't worry about those pics mate, the rotas are just fine

what are you having painted white exactly? dont paint the wheels white they will look awful, not so keen on the kit. I think your car looks good so low without a kit.

cheers mate, the only reason i painted them because one wheel started to corrode so i thought i may as well go for something different. I am really pleased with them

the rota's do look good but they have a weird dish on them in my opinion, the fronts don't look right and they dont look anything like the nismo's in 19's. I think the rota's look good in 18's and then lower the car abit more, theres a few people with that set up on here so i'm sure they will post pics
