  1. always good to be different mate will have to see more pics, i am guessing it makes them look a lot smaller now?
  2. I've got one for sale if you are interested? It's about 6 months old. Pm me if you are otherwise I'll stick it on the for sale section.
  3. they will look cant wait to see the pics once fitted!
  4. have you had it since new? at least then you know it is a fault with the clutch/set up. If you bought it second hand then i would put it down to the fact the previous owner was female (it's a joke, women are very good drivers)
  5. http://pistonheads.co.uk/news/default.asp?storyId=19805
  6. raccoon.co.uk do metallic vinyls, and they are very good. come on, do tell.....
  7. wouldn't want to get stuck behind it on the motorway when the sun hits it!
  8. The RS4 looks more white than the S5! I like this... chrome effect all over they have got a gallardo booked in soon for chrome. He said its very expensive to do this because the chrome requires a base layer hence it has to be wrapped twice!! Would certainly turn heads but i just couldnt do it to a lambo!!
  9. hi mate, I bought a pioneer fh-p80bt head unit about 2 months ago with the plan to fit it because my bose kept skipping but its now stopped so i still have it if your interested. Got the receipt for it. Only opened the box once!
  10. Thats what would worry me, the number of stone chips I manage to pick up is rediculous, if it's strong enough to hold them off though I would be seriously tempted. the vinyl acts a protective layer also and is very resiliant (spellcheck) to stone chips. He said they haven't had a car back for a replacement front bumper wrap yet. Obviously if it did go through the vinyl or anyone scratched it you just have that panel re-done so hardly a big problem. If someone puts a decent scratch in your paint, you'll need more than t-cut anyway! Vinyl is guaranteed for 5 years and the fitment for 3 years.
  11. shame i cant get pearl white cos that looks matt black as my other option but i thought from a distance it will just look like i havent polished my car for a few years where at least the white is going to be about as stark contrast as i can get. Cant decide whether to do the roof and centre of my front lip in carbon, matt black or leave gloss back?
  12. just the hassle of changing the v5 and if you get a proper job done, taking the engine out etc. I live in Lymm mate so not far from Manchester at all
  13. good on him, if only ever one looked after their cars as well as him! Be a great second hand buy when he sells it
  14. I take your point, and as i said its nowhere near as good as a paint job. 2k seems very cheap but the only reason i'm not painting it is for the resale and all the other probs attached. I'm not treating this as a long term option, maybe have it on for a year or two max then i'd be looking to change the car anyway. Waxing and polishing isnt really needed anymore, i'm sure a layer of wax cant do any harm. I've moved in to a flat now so car cleaning has become more difficult which was another factor that swayed me into it.
  15. here it is, the s5 is painted from the factory just to give a comparison
  16. I'm not paying £1k thats what it would normally be
  17. great job...just seems a little pointless on a zafira, i doubt most zafira owners wouldn't even know what tyre dressing is!
  18. its a franchised business. www.totally-dynamic.com have a look in the gallery, they have done everything from a smart car to an SLR!!
  19. in theorythey they can do anything. They had a db9 and an m6 in when i went which were both being wrapped white. Cost wise, circa £1000.
  20. http://www.themotorreport.com.au/6518/b ... -or-white/ My friends just had his rs4 done and it looks Granted not as good as a respray but nowhere near the cost and you can peel it off when you want to sell it. Mine is going in in two weeks time so i'll post the pics up once its done. I know the guy so got a 'special' price and thought why not. They can do a carbon fibre vinyl so i'm having the roof in that and the centre part of my front lip. Cant wait to see the results
  21. My lip is not carbon but you can get it in carbon and i think it would look good. Only reason i didnt is because i'd heard the fitment wasn't very good compared with the urethane version which was spot on.
  22. they are much nicer yes i was going to say Adam at Z1 is your man but it seems not.
