  1. Thanks, i have sent an email off to them with enquiry, looks like decent prices..
  2. Im going to nip into leamington and see if I can find one at lunch, ta beavis. PS Please dont wear my skin as a coat...
  3. Mike The one you posted can only go upto 1024x768, Im currently running in 720p which is something like 1368x768, 1080p would be 1980x1080 (i think) Would of thought dropping in resolution that much with a TV that size would look bad? need to see some in the flesh but everywhere i go have crap signals running through them
  4. I did see the 85B panasonic in the flesh and love it, but couldnt find it for cheaper than £1300 with warranty... £1300 on a TV is a lot... you think it is worth the extra dosh?
  5. I am moving house finally on Thursday I want a new TV, I currently run my xbox360 & PC through a 26" HD monitor which is great but not for the size of lounge, so what are peoples opinions on this http://www.johnlewis.com/230459974/Product.aspx Is there a better alternative, I will also be buying a PS3 for the new TV, so ideally would want 1080p, budget of around £1k for the TV but no more. Thanks MrLizard PS is GT5 worth getting?
  6. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DggRRCqEiKw&feature=related How did the guy in the blue 350 manage that???
  7. MrLizard

    Bride seats

nice seats Doesnt this just reconfirm that your using them to play GT5 on tho?
  8. i live in midlands an im off to wales, i thought it was relatively close compared to some people on here, tho +1 for a midlands meet in the future!
  9. Markw, Im an IT manager/3rd line techy in west mids, we support a few recruitment agencies (as well as loads of other companies) one of which i would highly recommend for IT placement. I wont mention name or anything, if you are interested you can either send me your CV and ill put in a good word or I can give you the name and you can deal straight with them. (over pm) Good luck MrL
  10. that is Hope to see you at some events this year, the rest of the team with me are welsh so im sure ill be dragged over the boarder a few times. cant imagine that thing is much fun in the wet
  11. There was a 16v 1.6 clio, 110bhp against the VTS's 120bhp, both apparently handle well however ive driven neither (have driven a new vts and a 1.0 clio, but that deosnt really qualify) pugeot 205 has 105bhp but weighs less,
  12. 16v would be nice, the pug only being 8, saxo vts is an interesting thought actually, i might have a look on ebay, whatever i do get an tune ill leave a running commentary on here however well or badly it goes. escort crossed my mind but RWD again takes me out of the lower class n puts me against supras etc so i might as well use the zed (which i cant afford to loose)
  13. Thats an interesting point, the rules stipulate that the car must have the original number of seats and the original dash in tact, you can strip the gumph behind the dash, clock, radio, some useless wiring for interior lights etc, including carpet headlining etc... but nothing else However if i strip more than 4kg worth im stuffed because although i weigh a fair few kg's its the unladen weight of the car that counts. and needs to be more than 800kg's Ill have a look at what you suggested though, 205 isnt 'that' tunable without serious work, though i thought nova's handled like a lampost ? MrL
  14. Hi everyone, I am in the process of getting into sprints etc... done a few autotests before but nothing requiring the MSA national b license, Anyway, planning on getting a 205, wanted something in the beginner class, and the stats arnt bad, engine below or equal to 1.6 and weight minimum is 800kg, gti is 804kg and obviously 1.6ltr. Has anyone had experience in sprints and/or 205's, is there an alternative i should look at? The reason for such a car is I can afford to loose the cash and take the 'hit' as it were, im sure a TT Rx-7 would be better (and not french) but i might not enjoy it so dont want to chuck loads of money at it 'yet' Any advice would be welcome, Thanks in Advance Mr Lizard

  16. +1 have to agree with this aswell. Company image and how your dealt with also plays a big part in my buying decision. +2. £20k is still quite a lot of money to spend and I wouldn't feel that comfortable shelling out that amount to an organisation that doesn't relect the desired image. And that's from someone who spent 14 years in the motor industry. +3 20k is a lot of money for anything, i would want the surrounding and the rep to reflect the amount of money i was spending, i got my 350 from a sports car specialist, sat next to a 911 and an rs4, i paid 20k for a 56 plate gt with 5k miles on it, if your looking at spending 20k on a car you will find one at an outfit that makes you comfortable. gluk
  17. I have 3 friends who would all like to make an appearance... 2 of them drive saabs (someone has to) and one audi a3 ( ) Worth putting them on the list or just turning up on the day? MrL
  18. to me that sounds like 'im scared of the brave, talented southerners '
  19. All the northerners to scared to put their names down.. or maybe it should be moved into the meets section?
  20. good call, i think i will, dont fancy being on my own team,
  21. From my house i can almost see the spike that represents the centre of england so im unsure where that puts me, coventry ish, south? Also i have a few friends who would be up for it if we need to make numbers up. 1.Sarnie (S) 2.Beavis (N) 3.Zedrush (S) 4. Louis (S) 5. MrLizard (S?)
