  1. I run pretty much the same as you Will, except I use normal steering and manual without clutch. Looking forward to seeing how my times change (better or worse!) with a wheel and pedals.
  2. Drop the 's'. www.gog.com
  3. It does, yes. You can cut some corners of the track, or over run some marking lines, but you need to learn where the game will let you do this. The bottom of the Corckscrew at Laguna Seca is a good example.
  4. Nah, it's much lower than that: Mine's only C500 because I've tuned it.
  5. Any excursion from the track means a lap is counted as dirty, and not rated as highly as a clean lap, i.e. a 1:50.500 dirty lap would be marked as slower than a 1:55.333 clean lap.
  6. I took mine out for a blat yesterday, after fitting the FSB and also changing a duff O2 sensor. It's utterly superb, and having spent the previous day driving the 911 I'd forgotten just how much later you can brake in a car that weighs so little. Immense fun, I love it.
  7. I've assumed they're clean, but I'll make it clear in the first post
  8. Need to know what tyres and more importantly, what condition and age they are.
  9. I don't think they're anything alike, I believe 500PP is much higher than C500. M3 GTR in GT6 is 497pp stock, and that's way quicker than my sheddy little BRZ!
  10. Who said a TTRS was 'better' than a GTR?
  11. Clean laps only of course, unless stated otherwise
  12. By not playing online, sadly. It really is filled with first-corner muppets.
  13. I know the feeling
  14. Right, I'll keep this first post edited for gamertags, but if we can keep quote each other when we add a new time, then that keeps that side of things cool. Chuck a post up with your GT (and time, if you've got one), once we have a list of tags then all we need to do is to keep the times up to date. 15. I agree, C-class is much more fun than A-class. I might have a go later Will Tell you what, I'll start a new thread and try and keep it tidy.
  16. If you've got the money and can afford to smoke, as well as enjoy it, then go ahead and smoke. If you haven't got the money, or could put it to better use, then stop. It really is that simple. Well, it's bastard hard actually, but all you have to do is to just not light up. Be honest with yourselves, if you'd actually like to quit then try, don't then justify the waste of money that these e-cigs are by saying it's better for you. Yeah it is, but you still look f'ing daft standing there with one hanging out of your mouth. Go on, honestly, who here would actually quite like to not smoke and have the money instead?
  17. Just stop if money is an issue, surely?
  18. It really is a good piece of kit for sure, and I look forward to compare it to the TX. The guys on ISR rate the TX above the T500 when you use the Ferrari GTE wheel and the T3PA pedal set, which is very high praise indeed. Can't find the pedal set anywhere sadly, but I'll definitely get the wheel as the 458 one is gash.
  19. Oh I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he's irritating. He looks bored all the time, and the whole attitude of not giving a crap gets old really quickly. If he's not prepared to at least pretend he's enjoying himself, then he should move over and let someone else have a go. Lewis is my favourite driver, but I can't stand it when he moans as well. It's partly why I'm so pleased that Ricciardo got a shot at RB, as he's never without a smile on his face and just seems to get on with things regardless.
  20. I cannot wait for next season, where Alonso spanks Kimi on every single track and people get very bored of his "witticisms". Never thought I'd ever find myself cheering Alonso on...
  21. Played GT6 today, on a mate's setup that includes a Fanatec 911TT wheel. Quickly ordered the Thrustmaster TX wheel for the Xbone. I'd forgotten just how amazing these games can be on a proper wheel.
  22. Ekona

    Guess where

    In a garage!
  23. Why? There is no difference, you just look up the inside instead.
  24. In fairness, that but wasn't there when people first read it. It's been updated.
  25. The Zed is an odd car, power-wise. There's loads there, but you need to wind it up and it's not massively quick for those half-chance overtakes. I found it hard to adjust at first coming from the VXR, but it does get easier. I know you're talking more about the size than the grunt, but I found the opposite more tricky to get used to. I suspect the FI guys don't have my issues...
