  1. I never knew you like Focuseses so much. ;)
  2. Preferable, but not necessary IMHO. I've never washed after a clay or before polishing, as if you do the initial wash properly along with using enough QD, then it's not needed. Of course, each to their own and you cannot possibly do any damage by adding another washing stage in, it just adds time to the process.
  3. Don't use the spray wax: That's a wax, not a detailing spray Get yourself the Megs clay bar kit, it comes with a perfectly decent clay and a full spray bottle.
  4. Yes, and there's loads of this been covered before, but basically you want to be doing this in this order: WASH to get the obvious dirt off CLAY to remove the very fine stuff POLISH to improve the paintwork and give the shine WAX to protect that shine Many different products available for each step, but even if you chose the crappiest of each you'd still end up with a car that looks much better than it does now.
  5. Merc have the best looking car this year, then. Shame that the RB is going to be the winner
  6. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. My point wasn't research based (be good to see yours though, if you have it to hand), it was more theory-based. You say it's important to run a tankful of premium super through now and again due to the extra cleaning chemicals, correct? If that's the case, I'm assuming then that you're aware that the various products I mentioned will do much more short-term help than a single tank of premium super will, as they're much more potent. I've run numerous cars from MR2s, 350Z, MX5, Impreza, 911 and the Mini both before and after using a can of 10K Boost. It makes so much more of a difference to the engine than any minor change running premium super over non-premium super does, which is why I'd recommend doing that and saving yourself a few quid.
  7. For the most part, yes. However, if you know that sometimes the red mist descends, or you don't always comply with the speed limits, then it may not be a great plan.
  8. Only get one if you're sure you're a perfect driver, or can dispose of it very very quickly.
  9. You mean Renault sound, TR have switched engine suppliers this year
  10. Not really: Remind me when the Golden Globes are again? Model years are increasingly turning to the US way of doing things, so a MY14 car would actually have been released in 2013. No surprises to see things going that way as a rule. Also, there's a certain amount of journalistic publicity to be had from getting their first with their COTY award, so don't forget that. Although perhaps I'm giving What Car? too much credit with regards to 'journalism' and 'knowing what the f*** they're talking about'.
  11. Do you also run a bottle of injector cleaner, or 10K Boost, or EGR cleaner, or any one of other much more potent cleaners through the car system as well? They will make a billion times more difference than switching from supermarket to premium fuel will. Not saying I completely disagree with your logic: Indeed, I sometimes run a tank of 97 in the MR2 instead of the usual supermarket 95 for a similar reason, but then I also back that up with a good dose of the hard stuff once in a while.
  12. Only if it's successful And if it is, expect RB, Ferrari and McLaren to object and have it ruled illegal after the first test.
  13. My missus would love that engine bay. Like proper, must-have-in-her-life adore.
  14. Oh. My. God.  Seb's gonna f*** ya! EDIT No wait, that's the Toro Rosso, isn't it? In that case, JEV's gonna f*** ya instead!
  15. Any fuel 97RON or higher is perfectly fine for any Zed. Freshness is ultimately more important than RON, so a busy BP station may well be a better bet than a quiet Shell.
  16. Cooling off period only counts if cancelled before the insurance starts, so if you do that then you'd still have to pay the initial cover fee on it which could be 50% of the premium. How about pay the garage to deliver it? Okay, you don't get to drive it, but could actually be cheaper.
  17. Me too, it's not even included in the 'what to do if your controller stops working' help page on the Xbox site! Still made no difference as the issue is there even if I use a cable.
  18. Moar car-penis.
  19. As I said in the other thread, make me an offer and we'll see what we can do
  20. I'm always open to offers on it... Still well worth the money in my eyes, and I'm not too fussed with a couple of issues as I've been amazingly lucky with electronics over the years: Certainly my issue here doesn't seem to be common amongst other owners.
  21. My Xbone is b0rked No controllers will sync either via kinect or with a cable, gotta send the whole shebang off for repair. Not having a lot of luck with it this week!
  22. GLOL  My missus says that, if you look at the MP4-29 from the front on, it looks like Jar-Jar Binks...
  23. Perhaps. Tbh I'm ill right now so judgement on my part may have been harsh, apologies. Still seems odd that a website would have 16K legit links to it.
  24. Sorry Pallett mate, didn't mean that to sound like I was having a pop, apologies if it came across that way Really appreciate you taking the time to post all that up, gives me a good clue as to where I'm going wrong with my tunes
  25. Wait, so you're upset that all those cheap SEO tricks will no longer work, and you'll actually have to put some effort into advertising your website? Or have I got that completely wrong?
