I am looking for some help from anyone who has changed their cats, my main problem is how do you get the top nut off on the drivers side (manifold end). I had it up on ramps earlier in an exhaust fitters and counldn't get near it because of the steering rack.

The whole selling point of the gtr is what it can do around a track so why anyone would pay that amount of money for a spec m is beyond me. I think there'd be a good few cars i'd rather have for that money.

You can get them through z1 so drop adam a pm, i think they're called o2 simulators.

No not too obvious you really only notice it when fitting and would probably have to get down on your hands and knees to see it once fitted.

Yeah they'll fit ok but the actual fit in the bumper isn't quite as good as the nissan originals with some leaving a slight gap at the top.

Sorry bud my mistake, it's the rear spoiler, the larger spl one they do.

Does anyone have the greddy spoiler fitted to their z? If so could you post a few pics up as i can't seem to find any pics other than the official greddy ones and it's hard to judge what it'd look like on an everyday z.

It sorta looks like someone has taken a picture on their mobile then used the face warp function on the front and rear lights, not a good look at all . The interior does look a bit better though.

It's not the sorta thing i'd like to attempt myself, would you be 100% happy sitting at 100 mph+ with them on? Give cs a shout and he'll sort ya with some hubcentrics, the only way to go about it imo.

That's the head unit i have in mine! It's a very good head unit considering the price. I got mine on offer from car audio direct just over a month ago and it was the cheapest i could find it.

I'm just wondering if anybody knows if the knee pads on either side of the centre console actually detach from their back panel. I've had a look on z tech and through the service manuals but can't really find a definate answer.

I see a lot of people on here use the megs but tbh i think there's a lot better products for the same money. The first thing i'd do is give it a going over with some as tardis to remove any tar, then give it a clay to smooth the paintwork, bilt hamber clay is good, nearly half the price of megs and you get about twice as much. Then it really depends on how much time you want to spend but for yourself who doesn't maybe want to get into a full detail then clean your car do a good kit consisting of car lack, collinite 476s, a couple of microfibres and a couple of applicators. The car lack prepares the paint well and the collinite 476s is a good reasonably priced wax which lasts for ages. Once you get your car to that stage then a good wash and dry technique will keep it looking pristine.

You could try on 350z tech, they have a wiki link to the service manuals which should point you in the right direction.

I think the white will look amazing although it really suits the black atm. I can totally understand where you're coming from with not wanting to paint it orange/green etc, i look at them on other peoples cars and they look well but i'd never do it to my own.

I had the car in last week for a service and the guy was saying about 4 grand for the standard gtr, crazy money imo. I can see a lot of aftermarket kits being fitted.

I actually really like it but would change the wheels as them ones look awful for a £45k car. I wouldn't buy one new but would be a nice second hand buy in a couple of years.

I got the same lance a few weeks ago but still need to get some snowfoam, i'm thinking of the valetpro citrus pre wash then the ph neutral snowfoam.

A set of all round limo tints would sort that until you open the door. WHY would anyone ruin a Z like that.

Yeah they really look the business as well but it'd be a shame to pay all that for carbon just to spray it in with the car. The border ones are quite nice as well although i'm not sure about the sagaris style slashes.
