  1. My new exhaust finally arrived this mornin and after a lot of swearing i got it fitted this afternoon. It's a scorpion and i have to say it sounds great, not too loud or chavvy, probably just slightly louder than a nismo. The only downside is the right hand side is sitting slightly higher so will have to space it down with a couple of washers on the hanger and also where the pipe joins the backbox, it's not a great fit and will prob need welded, so in summary Noise is Fit is
  2. Those wheels look amazing What make/size are they????
  3. The key is awful and prob the worst bit but the interior is quite tacky due to cheap hard plastics and the dodgy looking headlining. I think a nice retrim is in order
  4. Cheers for that, found the site great and got contact details of some1 close to me so no more swirl marks for summer
  5. I looking for some help in finding a good detailer in Northern Ireland. I give my car a good clay bar, polish and wax last week but there's a few light scratches and it's covered in swirl marks from the prev owner so i'm wanting to get it sorted by a pro for the summer season, any help would be greatly appreciated
  6. I got caught on camera doing 96mph on a motorway and only got 3 pts with a £60 fine so you might be ok
  7. Hi buddy and welcome. I'm from NI as well and spent nearly 2 months finding a good Z. I tried Charles Hurst as they had a few at the time but condition was poor and prices were silly. I personally preferred a UK model but there isn't really a huge difference. The one thing I'd definately go for is a GT model as it's the more desireable one. I've started seeing a good few Zs over here now so maybe have to get a meet organised
  8. Yeah there's plenty of choices out there to modify your Z, envy and trojansport have plenty of pics to let you know just what's out there. Once you find what you like just price around ( you'll find plenty of links on this site )
  9. Yeah i used to take it totally off on the RX as well but it was very predictable, the Z is a real handful esp in the wet! The only thing with the Z is that it kicks in at the slightest bit of spin and totally kills all power I tried it off once but nearly lost it on a roundabout so i'll keep it on till the summer
  10. I always leave the traction control on when i'm on public roads it's rescued me a few times, until you get a good dry road it can be a handful esp after a front wheel drive car. I come from an RX8 and i'm still not used to the low down pulling power!! But it's fun trying
  11. Welcome aboard mate, i've only had mine about a month now and loving every minute. I waited about a year to get 1 and i settled for an RX8 for that time but when i finally picked my Z up i spent about £100 in petrol in two days!!

    Help needed

Hi everyone. I'm currently looking at changing my exhaust and not exactly sure what to go for, i've it narrowed down to either - 1. 5zigen 2. nismo or 3. dc sports, the only thing is i haven't been able to find a good clip of the dc so if anyone has a good clip of the dc i'd be very grateful
  13. I've just had my z for about a month now, changing from an rx8. I have to say i'm delighted with my z so far, it's blue with a set of rays, as for mods i've just bought the full mat set and alloy vent trims so far but i've got a veilside v1 front lip, ings lx side skirts and a jwt popcharger on order. I'm currently loking at exhausts and thinking of the greddy evo2 but would like to hear a good sound clip of the dc sports. loving the site so far and will keep updating as i get the parts fitted
  14. I'd def go for just the splash guards with those mods, nice and smooth
