excellent pics and nice motor!

Today I decided ok I will try out warp speed on the Zed? Well after working my way through the gears and got to 6th planted my right foot and off we went - think I reached warp 3 but then it just did'nt want to go onto 4,5, or even further - am I doing somthing wrong? I checked the handbrake was'nt on and I switched the aircon off? I was told by the salemen that it will do at least warp factor 9 maybe 10 downhill with a good strong wind behind me? Is there a mod I can put on to reach that speed please? Thanks Oh the roof was up and my biggles scarf was safely tucked away in the boot in case your wondering about extra drag?

Shame you cant make it ! I washed and waxed the Zed last night - today its floating in heavy rainwater and the wheels look like they have driven through a mud pit! Oh well at least the dead bugs are washed off the bumper - really hope the weather picks up in Glasgow/Edinburgh - Stew mentioned it was gorgeous today not sure if he was talking about the weather or some gal he saw in the street!

thanks for that info - it is a bit kangeroo in 1st - which is embarressing especially when the roof is down at lights - I dont usually worry about anything around me I switch off but you feel people looking at you so to speak - well admiring the car anyway - so its a bit pants when you drive off and your almost having to double declutch so it does'nt bounce up the road!!! Anyway next service after I come back from Glasgow meet and my Edinburgh holls so thats another £200+ at Westway - see what else they find!

Like I said a strong vindaloo!! Sounds familiar - in my past life on the Aircooled VW scene - they used to do an engine distruct where they take the oil out of a Beetle engine and see how long it ran before it blew up - I always hated that sort of thing its horrible listening to an engine die! Anwway most Beetle engines pee out oil as a matter of course your only ever running on half the oil you should have - great heating btw when that happens!!

Hey cats are welcome to this thread also - especially if they are Rescue cats - ok even further off topic (sorry Digsy) I have 2 adopted swans in front of my house on the river - called Bob and Marge - they dont know I have adopted them but they come back every year, I feed and keep an eye on them - sad are'nt I! Oh yes the love cakes also! There goes my macho Roadster image ..........
