Cool Matt - sounds like its a striaghtforward job - if you get problems with any residue - you can use Cellulose Paint thinners on a rag(or nail varnish remover) whatever ticklels your fancy - but please check it on a smal area first and do it inthe open air - dont want to pass out on the fumes! Oh be careful you dont get any on your plastics!! good luck

Tint on the windows?? Hmm they are tinted on my 07 UK car but its got to be a factory tint (light /green/blue colour) but cant see any seperate film - the glass itself has a colour sprayed tint from the factory? JDM I've seen does'nt have a tint this dark - in fact almost no tint at all? Have you had yours from new? If not maybe someone has had tint film applied??

If you pop over to your local friendly car spares shop and they have those mixing machines - AND as long as the child behind the counter gives a half a stuff then he will pop outside and compare the paint mix (after ) it has dried on his lollie mixing stick to see the match - and not rely on a mix listing on the complicator? (Mine does that they made a better match than Nissan did in the factory for my old Xtrail! ) Failing that dare I say Halfrauds (think they do the same)? Better still find a trade Autopaints place where its mixed up fresh every time ? Trouble now its all 2 pack water based sh** still..... no Celly Good luck

I think the centre console and satnav dodar is the one from the new Xtrail - (had one for a day) and the radio will include bluetooth and play MP3 now - its standard across the range even a lowly Micra can do this!! But the plastics still look pants though and like ours will scratch as soon as you look at them? Your right can just see a glovebox - thought it was just a moulding underneath like in ours? It will probably fit a packetof fags and a box of matches though! Bloke at work has a red new Z4 coupe and its all bonnet with a fat short arse - I really hope Nissan are not thinking its the height of fashion -although better than the ragtop still think Z4's leave a lot to be desired! Will be Audi fairly lights next!

I know I posted a thing to replace bulbs but not had a chance to do that under controlled conditions- however its gonna be a quick change in the evening now! So want to buy the bulb tomorrow ? Does anyone know what bulb type, wattage is fitted on JDM Fairlady Z 52 plate? They look like Xenon types as its the top of the range model, with seperate bulbs for headlamp and full beam lamp?
