Thanks for the extra info chaps There is the slight problem of finding £30-40K for one of these (especially the convertible) but will watch this space and see how things pan out....

Hi Cara - back (after only 3 days forum fast! ) Thanks for the pics - tell hubby to save time and effort and just a brand new reshell and hang the old bits off it - save him about 3years of his life doing it! Looks good actually has he been putting 2 pence pieces in the door jams while he welds the hinge back on to get the alignment! Nice project for him then and lots of tuning potential with that engine - also I see its the lovely chrome bumper model pre that ugly rubber bumper one they had to do for the states - (sorry shutting up now - just tipping the dandruff out of my anorak!) good luck with it and your next job etc - welcome back to the forum

I can just see baby Zee in the back of one of those! Now all I need to do is save a fortune and were off! Where was that lottery winner again! Would be great to have a meet at that place seems a natural thing for the club. Reading is a bit of a way from Manchester though - but given the chance I would probably make a weekend of it and pop over. Important question Chris - do they serve nice cakes! They have cooled off a bot now no where near as bad when they realised that most of them are identical to the uk cars. Think there was a worry that cars had no provenance, welded up from 3 cars etc and so unique it would make them expensive to source parts etc but when they realised there is such a big Market and parts support things ae better now. There are specialist insurers that do this type of insurance and the ones on the forum do Jdms if that's your worry?

It's a chavvy version of Come dine with me ... Yet more telly about the nations favourite subject after celebs that is.
