  1. I wasnt really paying attention but you waved - dont know if i waved back in time for you to see me
  2. This is a difficult situation for all involved. I dont know what to suggest, except for everyone to remain patient. I can fully sympathise with Andrew and family as my girlfriend and i have this month been through the exact same thing with her mum (albeit with a quicker outcome, unfortunately). That said, fair's fair, and you guys really need to get refunded - but as Phil's still hanging in there im sure its very difficult to get access to his accounts. Hope all goes well.
  3. Get some insurance quotes before you commit to buy - you might be surprised what it costs
  4. Is that really your plate?? Thats mint! I love the front wings bud.
  5. Ok - Thanks Andy for sorting the spigot rings for me. I fitted them on Saturday, and unfortunately my wheels are still wobbling very badly, albeit now at 90mph rather than 85! So there is a slight improvement! Guess i'll just have to live with it then... but at least it'll keep me on the right side of the law
  6. You do track days dont you Dan... do you know what db level the K1 + JWT gives...? Im going to book another drift day soon and dont want to pay and then get there and not be allowed on!
  7. Very nice mate. Make sure that your interior light switch is set to the right position - this means it will come on with the doors... it took me a couple of days to figure that out when i got mine.
  8. Steve, Please put me down for this - including the 50% discount you offered after i couldnt make the last one...! When do you need payment by...? Cheers Chris.
  9. Hey guys, I picked up the K1 Andyvvc was selling on Thursday night, and had it fitted yesterday for £30. I wanted it loud, so i fitted it without the bungs, and then went for a drive... i was like 'on dear, what have i done?' It sounded ridiculous! It was shaking everything in my car and was basically un-driveable...! So, i fitted the bungs in the afternoon and all i can say now is - wow! It sounds like a 1960's mustang... its awesome! Its loudest at 2k revs, very very deep, but then when going fast it gets quieter which i like, and it sounds absolutely ace! So, many thanks Andyvvc... will hopefully see you in Wales in May.. oh, and his new exhaust looks and sounds Some pics...
  10. Welcome mate. I know how women like to buy things... she may have a job fitting things in the boot of the zed with the large rear strut it has in there... check that out first as it may change her mind!
  11. Welcome matey. I was your age when i was fist getting mine... had to wait till i turned 24 though cos of the insurance costs... At 23, the cheapest i could find was £3.5k to insure it but then at 24 i got it for £2.5k - which i paid 2 weeks after my birthday. Now im 25 and its only £800
  12. Im going to the next Trackaction one at Oulton Park which is on May 9th... They wouldn't give me a refund for the last one, even though my mother in law had the brain hemorrhage the day before it, and died a week later! They offered me a 50% discount if i book with them again which is pretty crap, but i might as well do it as i'd have lost the £130 for nothing otherwise Cant wait tho still!

    Epic fail

Yes mate, i think so.... I didnt want to leave the missus on her own, but she keeps telling me to go! I dragged her to Nottingham with me last night to go pick up my K1 exhaust from Andyvvc! Getting it fitted in the morning hopefully...!

    Eye Lids

I've only seen carbon ones for sale in this country, but i got some FRP eyelids from the states and got them sprayed. eyelids were about £30, but it cost me £100 to spray them along with my intake duct.
  19. I agree with this, although it may not always be possible... My 19's are cheap ass and heavy, and i now have very little confidence in my car compared to my 17" JDM's. Im running fk452's though in the same sizes as everyone else - so it is because of the wheels' size and weight. Now for a lightweight set of 19's you're looking at £1.5k minimum i think with tyres, which was simply out of my budget. Given the choice again i'd rather get 18's and retain most of my handling, and with the change lower it too.
