    Eye Lids

I've only seen carbon ones for sale in this country, but i got some FRP eyelids from the states and got them sprayed. eyelids were about £30, but it cost me £100 to spray them along with my intake duct.
  6. I agree with this, although it may not always be possible... My 19's are cheap ass and heavy, and i now have very little confidence in my car compared to my 17" JDM's. Im running fk452's though in the same sizes as everyone else - so it is because of the wheels' size and weight. Now for a lightweight set of 19's you're looking at £1.5k minimum i think with tyres, which was simply out of my budget. Given the choice again i'd rather get 18's and retain most of my handling, and with the change lower it too.
  7. I cant stand old cars...
  8. See here for detailed pics... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... t=creaking
  9. Its your rear drop links mate... they need re-greasing. Very common problem, and is a diy fix.
  10. Sweet, cheers bud... i was waiting for your results before i made a move...!
  11. Go on then...
  12. I mean it in the way that the driver of an s model is obviously into his cars, so he's not an automatic **** like most audi drivers (according to clarkson!).
  13. Right - lets all email Tim...
  14. ...and its an import - which he doesnt mention
  15. There is one under my carbon cover! It was G/M as it was done by someone before.... Needs some serious rubbing down to get a nice flat surface.... Even though it looked ok, you could still see the remains of the original finnish.... Oh and it chips!! There was one just on ebay US, black alcantara with orange stitching... looked schweet.... And no reflection!!! That does sound sweet with the alcantara, but im a diy kinda guy...! I can imagine the center console chipping too... Jay/Paul - got any plans to combat this?
  16. NICE ONE! Cant wait for that...!
  17. Hi Dave, You can access both of the cogs with just the bonnet open. You need a long thin screwdriver and a torch to reach the bottom cog and see what you're doing - like an 8 inch screwdriver or something. I think there is a certain size posidrive which will fit it, but i did mine with a flat head. It takes about 5 minutes of rotating to get it to move very far, so dont give up on it! As far as i know, all lights have the adjustment cogs.
  18. Looks good mate. The strut cover. Not the bag. Im waiting for someone to do a gloss black attempt at the center console though...
  19. +1 Alot of things rely on the ACM Its a white box-unit behind the center console... would take about 45mins diy to swap it out if you can get a used module from a breakers. ...but i couldnt say if that is actually causing the problem.
  20. That looks cool. I love the street sleeper look. Welcome by the way mate... sure this isnt your car and you're trying to get some interest?
  21. Hi Mate. I bought a US-spec headlight for my UK zed, and it was angled to the right at first. The top cog on the lights is for height adjustment, and the bottom cog is for left to right. It takes a lot of turning to get it to adjust - park up about 6 feet from a wall and get adjusting - you'll see it moving gradually!
  22. Cool!
  23. I'll go against the consensus here - i cant stand audi's as i think they all look the same (apart from a white TTS i saw a few weeks ago, which had me waivering for a minute). But at least you've gone for the S model, which i will at least give some respect to...!
