Please, when doing any kind of drilling or diy, always wear safety glasses! I was dremmel-ing something yesterday and some debris went in my eye. It hurt like hell but i couldnt see anything in it, so i got taken to hospital and it turns out i have a 'corneal ebrasion', which in english is a scratched eyeball. To make it feel better the doctor folded my eyelid inside out with a cotton bud, and then applied anesthetic directly to my eyeball with another bud. It actually wasnt that bad though! Now i've got some antibiotics to apply 4 times a day, but i cant drive for a week, and it hurts so ******* much! I've got an appointment with an eye specialist tomorrow so i'll see what they day. The annoying thing is, i was working on my DIY project all day yesterday, while wearing safety goggles for everything, but i just needed to dremmel off the top of the superglue to make the holde bigger - which would have taken just 2 seconds so i didnt put the glasses on - and thats when i get injured... go figure. Anyway, not happy today, and i've only got about 30% vision out of my left eye now.

Damn they'd go with my silver, black and red zed...! Shame im skint. ...i'll trade you them for my K1...

Hi guys, Im going to take my K1 off the car this weekend and go back to the standard exhaust. I bought it 2nd hand on here in March this year, and its probably covered around 1500 miles since then. Im selling it because i dont really like the sound of it - i think its cos my car's an auto, it sounds a bit wrong? The engine doesn't rev in the same way as a normal car, and when you hear that amplified 10x louder, it sounds a bit daft - so im going to return to stock See the thread i bought it from here. Price the same as what i paid please - £225 collected (yes it fits in the zed!). You'll have to get a quote for a courier if you want it shipped, but i can wrap it if needs be. I cant accept any lower unfortunately as im skint, and need to pay for a P3 and replace my disks and pads this next month...! It includes the rear cans and the mid-pipe NOT the Y-pipe. Also, come on guys - i really recommend you do this. It doesn't seem to get much interest which is disappointing - it was seriously the best thing i've ever done, and it doesn't wear your tyres at all...! I did 70miles of drifting when i was there in April and was on track from 9am till 5pm - with barely 30seconds wait between laps.

Went to see this tonight but i was a little dubious after the last film. All i can say after watching it is WOW! Im well happy with it... Christian Bale is really good, and the story is excellent. Its definitely a fans film, rather than a cash in. If you're a fan, make time to see it.

To me this sounds more like an alarm/immobilizer issue? Immobilizer kicks in, stoping the engine from running, but all other electronics work? I've flattened my battery while parked before now while listening to the radio, and the screen goes off etc and i could restart, making me think that this isnt a battery issue.

Mine is a tiptronic, and thats where the sport/normal/snow mode button goes. Then i've put a similar switch to my head up display in the 2nd slot... not found anything to put in slot 3 yet

I dont know how common this would be on a zed but on my old bmw forum's we used to have hundreds of these types of posts, and 9 times out of 10 it was the bushes that needed replacing. They often look okay but when under load they give and allow the control arms to hit their housing, giving a loud clunking noise. But like i said, im not saying thats the problem - just a possibility.

Is it a constant noise - i.e. related to wheel rotation? As if it is then its not related to any loose body parts...

Ugh... im so disappointed with F1 this year... The last 2 seasons have been the most exciting in recent memory - but what the hell have they done this year? I've not even watched a single race - its not a sport anymore.
