  1. Yep... A range rover sport is my realistic dream car! I love them.
  2. Ofcourse its a GTR Anything less is a backward/sideward step TBH Good luck then...! When i was in hospital last year i was reading.. er Redline i think and there was a 4 page article about GTR ownership... and there were these two guys they did the feature on - and the running costs over the 2 years they'd both owned their cars was like £20-25k each!! That put me waaaaaaaaay off the idea Is a GTST a backward step performance wise? (i've not done the research yet )... Im getting that itchy feeling at the moment as i've had the zed for 2 years... and all i seem to be looking at are high mileage Range Rovers and R34's...
  3. What sort of R34 are you looking at then... a GTR?? For probably the last 6 weeks or so i've been 'mildly perusing' PH and autotrader for an R34.. just a GTST but they're not dear (in standard form)... but i've not found one in the blue for the same as what my zeds worth yet...
  4. Serves you right for being a flash b@stard darren Honestly, jet skiing? More like you fell down stairs... heh heh. You can lend me your camera setup for next month then... seeing as you wont be using it... am at Oulton Park on the 12th and 26th
  5. I hated the last one... i was more into PGR4... But IMHO there hasnt been a decent racing game (or once which has captured my attention) since NFS Underground 2
  6. SEX. I love the current line up of Masers...
  7. Welcome mate... hope you got a good deal on it!
  8. Cheers Mike. Arighi's is about half a mile from my house... hadn't thought of going there. That said, £800 is a bit more than i want to spend, and they have a 4-6 week delivery wait...
  9. You just have to pray. For me, if its 2 spaces like that, i'll remain in 1 bay, but get as close to the edge of my bay on the empty side - putting people off parking next to me as its too small, but im not a tw@t for taking 2 spaces If im parking next to 2 cars, i try to pick it where both pasenger sides open onto my car - as the odds are reduced that someone will be using that door (although the odds are increased that they'll be more careless )
  10. Isnt this now the 2nd repost of this video?
  11. This is like one of those pistonheads adverts where you can tell the missus is making the guy sell the car... cos of such little effort and spelling mistakes

    Car respray

I think Paul paid £2.5k for his he said recently... but im pretty sure the costs of paint have risen dramatically over the last year...? Also depends on what paint you use... House of Kolor candy apple red FTW!!
  13. Rich - yeh if you can let me know what make yours is please... it'll give you something to do on your summer holiday! Beavis, hypnos sounds good, i'll have a look for them tonight. Stan - much appreciated pal! I think i'll get one with delivery but cheers for the offer. As for Costco im not sure - i want to get one from a propper bed specialist to be certain im getting something good... i bought my new bed from an independant store and got crap service, and it ended up being a complete duffer - so i want a reputation with a new one! Im going to 'Dreams' in stockport tonight to have a mooch round!

  16. Hmmm... useful responses guys. Stew - the only drawback of taking a punt on it is if it doesnt turn out to be any better. i wouldnt have thought i'd be able to sell it afterwards - as people dot buy used mattresses! Mark - I see what you're saying... thats probably the best advice - just not what i wanted to hear I'll try to do some more research before i buy MrLizard - thats the good news i wanted to hear! Best purchase ever sounds good to me!!
  17. Hey all, odd request here... but does anyone know anything about memory foam mattresses? I've got a really bad back - i had surgery last year on it for crushed disks - and it went again this weekend and i cant walk for more than 2 mins at a time right now! Im working from home and have been lay flat on the sofa since Saturday! Anyway, i blame my mattress for it - we got a new bed just under 2 years ago, and all my problems started about 6 weeks after that! Until recently i didnt think the two were related, but i slept at my mums house (not on a memory foam mattress) and it was so comfortable - i woke up the next day without any pain at all! Sooo, in TJ hughues near me they have an offer on this week of Silent Night Memory foam mattresses in KingSize, for £260! Seems like a bargain to me, but can anyone tell me if they're any good or not? Are they firm/soft? Do you get hot in them etc etc? I think im gonna get taken down at lunch time and buy one, cos i cant take the pain anymore!!!!

    Engine

Im guessing its a nissan unit, cos its very reliable
  19. Yeh, had to hardwire a friends US radio into his rover once. We couldnt find a connection kit for it, and the wire colours didnt match, so we spent a whole weekend with a multimeter turning the ignition on and off etc...! ...and the radio wouldnt even pick up radio 1 after all that.
  20. I've got an old Dreamweaver 7 book you can have! I used to use dw before i went to uni for small projects, but i found it quite frustrating. I felt like it tried to do too much for you, making simple tasks more difficult than they needed to be. Maybe i was just using it wrong though From memory though, it includes some excellent tutorial videos showing you how to do most things you'll need to.
  21. Double damn.. i would be interested in a copy of it too...! I cant afford the real thing
  22. Thought you were against copies of official brands... (tommy k thread!)
