  1. great result mate, dead jealous! seeing all you boys doing these boost mods is making think seriously about saving my pennys up for it. Unfortunately though I am not as competant as you boys with a spanner and would have to pay for someone to fit it, so it would be double the cost for me! really nice final figures though and looking forward to seeing it, it all its pink wheeled glory at a meet this year!
  2. I love those ARC boxes, I would love one. The cost of them is just mental though! Looks amazing in there though mate, your engine bay is gorgeous. I think a Kinetix ssv would look great in that engin bay
  3. I maybe should have just done that then, oh well I will know for erm....next time? lol I have ad a look at just supergluing the blue prong back on without the bracket, we will see how that goes. I PM'd Alex and Lee, but no luck there, so still need a drivers side if anyone has one. If not, where can I get one, Nissan Stealer I guess? Seen a couple of breakers on ebay, maybe they will have one.
  4. ZMANALEX has the kits for sale to fix this issue, check in the members traders section. Not sure on labour, but I am sure he could advise you.
  5. cheers mate I will PM and ask. I removed them because with every tutorial I have read and tips from people before they said to remove them and clean them, then use a hair dryer to warm the panels before applying, so I was only following what I had been told
  6. After trying to install my carbon B-Pillar covers this morning, i found that on the drivers side one the middle prong had given way, I may have snapped it, but I doubt it as I was being super careful, it seemed to just come away easily as I prised it off. Anyway, does anyone have a drivers side B-Pillar cover spare I am going to now wait to fit my covers until I have a working set That has killed that mod for the day and I dont have my wrenches here to do the shift knob, so another boring Sunday
  7. This will fix your problem as long as the squeak is from the ARB links mate. Very easy to fit and adjust. The only issue that you may have is getting the old ones off but if you are handy with the spanners then there should be no drama. Alex. Hi Mate, Well the "creaking" as I would more describe it, comes when the rear of the car is on a camber, like turning into my drive or parking on a verge. It is getting a bit too much now so I need it sorted.
  8. Just drove down the road and the squeaking is getting too much to bear now. I take it this will fix the problem Alex? How tricky are they to fit for a novice?
  9. not sure but...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ORG-Nissan-Fairla ... 20afbcd34d
  10. Looking at the pics of it that Alex posted up, the 2nd pipe doesnt connect anywhere and I wouldnt fit the 3rd pipe, so turning it would be an option, just not sure how sturdy. Main thing I am worried about is no airfloe if it is turned up higher! I will look at it at the weekend and see what is best, hopefully get some pictures up. I need to reset the ECU once fitted dont I, I better look at how to do that again!!
  11. No, mine is a Max Speed custom pipe, with a Simota Filter. It looks in the pic like you could just twist the 2nd pipe so that the filter cone is sitting above the bumper bar. Maybe I will just get the hydroshield from JDM Performance, only £25 or so.
  12. Hey guys, just looking for a bit of thought on this, I am pretty useless technically so wanted to ask the guys in the know. I have the below CAI and I am looking to either fit it myself this weekend or get it fitted. Only thing I am worried about in the picture is that if I have it fitted like that, I run the risk of Hydrolocking, so what I ahve though about is, instead of fitting the final section of the pipe, setting the second part of the pip[e at a different angle (effectively twisting if a bit) and fitting the filter there, so that the filter sits just above the bumper bar. This way it will not run the risk of any hydro lock, and it is not in the engine bay for heatsoak. Only thing I am not sure about is, in that position, will I still get good airflow to the filter? I am thinking of having it fitted like the Injen in the pic below. How Alex had it How I am thinking of having it sit, obviously only the one side
  13. Very nice mate, always a big fan of the black zeds Strosek rear would look good! Is that the HKS Hi Power you have?
  14. No problem, I will have a look tomorrow and see what I have. Just need to make sure I have one for replacing in the car when I sell it. But as long as I ahve both then you are welcome to the spare one. If I remember correctly there is still a bit of glue left on the inside, but should be easy to remove that. The only thing is the lid colour, I think it is a shade lighter like the Nurrish ones. I bought my one that matches a long time ago off of an old member, but not sure how he obtained it. Like I said you are welcome to it if I can find it, just either pick it up or give me postage (I am near Enfield) What install are you thinking of doing? If sat nav then have a look at the Nurrish ones as they are good! I have the Kenwood setup that lots of people were running on here 2-3 years ago, still a great piece of kit!
  15. Think I have a spare one round my Mums in the cupboard, will have a look for you tomorrow if you like.
  16. Ian obviously has first dibs on spacers, however if he doesnt take them I could be keen on all 4, just got to make sure no rubbing issues with my 19" Nismos and that they fit the bore correctly?
  17. very nice tarmac! Did they come like that or were they re-finished? Think I am going to get some spacers then and then only drop it by 30mm when I find the right suspension set-up, been looking at the KW3 and the Blisten.
  18. That does look sweet by the way webber!
  19. Greddy Evo 2 one of my faves, but sooooo expensive right now. Over£1000 it is true dual Gaz Walker can get you one at a very good price, I know because I asked last week. Call Envy Perfomance
  20. Gunmetal Nismos huh Tarmac, interesting. I was thingking of getting mine re-finished in gunmetal. Any pics?
  21. reading the US site, there is a whole thread just dedictated to the LGMT4 and there are some guys on there that are running 18\19" with 15\20\25 spacers and they look so good. One guys said he did roll the fenders, but his car looks like it is sitting so low.
  22. Been looking at the US site and the guys that have them have a really aggresive stance, I love the look. Only problem is I can find a definate answer as to whether there would be any issues or not with this. Was thinking 20 at the front and 25 at the rear. But may go less if there will be problems. I am at normal ride height at the moment, but I am looking out for a full suspension set-up in the not to distant future and will drop it ever so slightly. Will I have rubbing issues, as I dont really want to roll the arches. If I went with 15F\20R would this be safer? I just want to create that really aggresive look. Thoughts, experiences and pics welcome And I have done a forum search already and it didnt come up with much............
  23. cheers biscuit hey Dan, no points taken, you didnt come across as bashing, Adam already stated earlier in the thread that the spacer did nothing, but that the ones he sells have valves for gauges. I am staying N\A for the time being, but I have been looking at the old 2006 GT-S and thinking that it is a shame that just the one was built
  24. Cheers mate Well I might invest in the AAM one from Adam then, I did email him about it the other day. If anything it gives much better fuel consumption, so you will make your money back after 2 tanks maybe Gauges hmmm, I have been looking for an excuse to get a carbon pillar cluster, what sort of gauges could you run from the throttle body? (sorry not that technically minded as most fo you) New carbon throttle sounds nice, looking forward to seeing that, you think it will give gains? I ahve been deliberating over the Kinetix V5 plenum, or a motordyne plenum spacer, seems to be a split opinion on these like most parts. i don't know is the easiest answer as i haven't fitted it yet, mine will go on with the carbon plenum when it arrives. and any changes can't be pinpointed as it will be mapped at the same time, so you wouldn't know whats doing it? the reason the z1 auto one is good is because you can run guages from them thats why they have the valves off the top. the one i have is rifled inside, and for £20 worst case senario is all its done is add to the red engine bling i already have.
