  1. Is it losing power or just completely stopping accelerating at 120mph? Limiter it would stop accelerating, if not then its something else Cheers, Andy
  2. Just been talking to a bloke I used to work with and it turns out he's suffering from kidney failure and is on dialasis (sp) every week. All down to the fact he had flu in his early 20s. He's waiting for a transplant ASAP. Am in complete shock
  3. By definition that was not racism though! It wasn't poking fun at blacks, it was poking fun at the Jackson 5! If it had been a generalised act making blacks out to be inferior, then yes it would have been racist - check out the definition of racism for yourselves! Is it wrong to say the Jackson 5 were black (well maybe there was some doubt about Michael towards the end lol)? If thats the case I give up on society ffs....
  4. Just to clear this up for any future searches on this subject - the 2.5k rpm limit is a standard Nissan failsafe if the ECU detects an error or out of range value from the MAF sensor. It then ignores the MAF signal and does its best to calculate load from the TPS value but restricts RPM to protect the engine. Be carefull getting water on your MAF - they don't like it too much...
  5. oooft prepare for a slap matey! PMSL! I'm preparing for the onslaught
  6. Ok... Next question (Please dont mock) But is this a turbo per cylider bank or a sequential set up. And... if its 1 per bank how do they balance out the amount of boost, so its equal for both sides. I know its complicated, just asking the question made my head hurt... Its a true twin setup, not sequential. Boost balance is achieved through a 2-1 Intercooler and carefull setup of the wastegate actuator pre-tension
  7. Yeah but if they end up as washing machines they're still destined for a lifetime of abuse by women...
  8. Ditto I'm amazed Sony have managed to sell any at all with the **** poor range of decent games available Its just a seriously expensive DVD player at the moment
  9. Almost Ctrl-Alt-Del twice at the logon screen Cheers, Andy
  10. LOL I'm tempted to do it using my Ex's bank details - she ran off with a so called 'mate' and emptied my bank account so it would only be fair
  11. PMSL!!!! She was on bloody Jeremy (bile) Kyle today ffs!!!
  12. Don't miss Micro men on thursday, bbc4 at 9pm I think - the battle of the home computer That will bring back some memories!!!!
  13. You can't beat the BTCC for wheel to wheel action (most of the time lol). Used to go to just about all the races but started to lose interest when they dropped the super touring class. Went to Snetterton in August and got the bug back so will be making time for some races next year! Could do some form of club meets??? Oh and congrats to Colin - didn't come easy but perseverence pays off!
  14. http://www.groundingkits.co.uk/products.htm#350z Don't expect any performance gains though
  15. LOL this mornings forecast said it was going to be wet today - in actual truth when the map was shown it was only the SE corner where it was raining Its been dry here today but its bloody freezing.....
  16. Thats exactly what these forums are about Glad you got it sorted mate
  17. Yup with the battery disconnected the auto drop doesn't work when you open the doors Make sure you don't leave the keys in the car when you do it just incase the car has total closure and locks you out
  18. Top be honest once a car battery has gone flat that badly you need to replace it. It may last a few more months once charged but it WILL give up on you again soon - especially now the days are shorted/colder and you're driving around with headlights/heater/rear demister etc running most of the time... 5 years is pretty good life for a car battery so don't be too disappointed edit: check this post out viewtopic.php?p=398485#p398485
  19. You need to look at the lights while trying it - if they go out then the battery is FUBAR edit: Just noticed your avatar - no pun intended
  20. Easy test for the battery is to put the headlights on and try cranking - if its dead then the headlights will almost go out completely - obviously you need someone to look at them while you try it
  21. Its all down to modern safety laws with crash tests etc
  22. There is no such thing as a nice kid these days Its gone down hill majorly in the last 10 years. If I ever misbehaved (not THAT long ago lol) I knew I was in for the smacking of a lifetime - these days the kids get taken home by the coppers and a nice pat on the head from their parents. You can't really blame the kids, its the lack of discipline (maybe down to laws or maybe down to the fact that parents just can't be arsed). The kids on this estate wreak havoc every weekend, it is only a matter of time before one of them gets knocked down by a car and then who's fault will it be? Latest thing is those plastic BB guns - what parent in their right mind buys a kid a weapon ffs? Unfortunately, one of the kids decided to turn his bb gun on one of our cats in march and killed him. RIP Dave If I ever catch the little bastard who did it I will not be held responsible for my actions!!!
