Harsh... LOL! The first response wasnt harsh.... and the op still thought the idea could be done... after that harsh, but deserved (IMO) as it continued! Glad you and the other +'s think its something to be laughed at! Harness in the front perhaps but still not the best place.. If you got a dog you need some type of appropriate transport to ferry them round in... wouldnt have thought it would have done the interior and exterior much good as well as the resale value! Its also not about the driver driving like a spoon, its about others on the road... a shunt from behind and you will have 4 stone of bulldog sailing through your front screen, a shunt from the front and you got a dog bouncing off the strut and back into the drivers area! Bulldog isnt exactly going to jump up into the boot so you got to lift it and as I said before you have to get them into the front area and they arnt going to get a bulldog under the strut... All in all a stupid idea!!!!

Just remembered!! Did this include the full kit including all the bottom lip and also the ultra expensive bit of polystyrene that fits behind the bumper... IIRC just the bumper is about £350 to £400 direct from Nissan (+VAT)

Yes... Cause your thing about putting a bloody dog in the back of a car its not meant to bloody go in! You own a 350z so you can see there is an issue with space, height, interior etc and it dosnt bare thinking about! Or dont you own a 350z ?

yeh mine went over the few weeks it wasnt started... all fine now, dont appear to need a charger but am guessing it wouldnt be a bad thing!

Common fault, have a search about for the reset how to... May be that you need a new motor... they way I got mime to work was by holding the button in the up position and then banging the inside of the door around the center area and then moving over towards the air vent, you will know where the sweet spot is when the window starts to go up!!

And on a Zed you dont really need a P3 doing....

Sorted!! Cheers mate, some how if you met BIG john you would know he wouldnt do either of those... You may want to call Envy and see what they have in stock and get some prices / ideas of what they have available. And then get a cost to fit, john may be able to give you an idea over the phone (just tell him mark with the silver 350z sent you) but he will give you a caveat of " we wont be able to be 100% till we see the kit and see if any other work is needed!" Your only getting your money "like for like" as you know the cost of parts etc! How you spend it is another thing... but I guess you will need to present a bill / receipt to their insurance company? Just trying to remember who has had work done round your area! How far can you travel as you will need to get quotes..

It depends on who you go to!! £700 will buy you a large ammount of a decnt body kit but wont cover the paint, paint on top for a bumper will be about another £250 to £350 depending on where you live..Isnt the GT4 bumper just a stock one unless you have a nismo kit on it? Also scratched lights, they cant always be buffed out and your looking at another 950 to 1050 from nissan (but there are always other ones up for grabs on this and the other UK forums...) If you in the south, go see Big Jon at JC Auto refinishing in Cranleigh... he will know what your trying to do and sort you out Link is in my sig... Dont just go to anyone for the bumper respray... Fair comment, I can't disagree with that. I'm still going to give it a go though as I love the HKS zorst but there is no chance I'm paying the retail on one of those. Again, I'm not arguing but it states that the exhaust is SUS304 stainless steel - is this not the same material as the 5zigen exhausts ect? What I want to know is why do these rust? It seemed to be on the welds as Andy said... also could be the flanges as they wont be made from SS. It could also be to do with the thickness of the walls of the zorst... if they use a much thinner wall then it could go quicker... after all there is moisture both inside and outside the zorst..

You need 4 and some new wheels to go with them!!

What if you were to heat wrap the whole thing?? May help but I dont think the heatwrap is water proof so water would get in and be sat there as it would be held in the webbing of the wrap I guess.... Also spoke to someone about wrapping my titanium one (to keep it looking pretty!!) but you will get expansion issues I think if you go anything past the y.. And on a thin wall zorst you would probably crack it...

There is a fair bit on my350z about these and the biggest thing is rusting issues...

Have found that the Dodo juice red mist helps with keeping the crap off as it seems not to stick as bad! Quick rinse and the dirt is gone!

Yeh there the ones on Giles's old car, still around somewhere!! And yep, andymc has them on his... good bit of kit but only really good when your on a track or at a show as you cant turn them on elsewhere!!

it just seems to safe with the nismo, i wanna be a little differant, may keep the nismo just to make sure i made the right choice i dont beleive so, but for what i paid and how well if fits im not complaining, cheers Sorry mate, didnt mean to cause offence, I was just slightly shocked at the gap on the fitting and would have been suprised if it was an original one as they are known for there spot on fitment. Good that you have a bit of a gap actually as it looks great when its blended in With Andy on his comment, best style of spoiler on the Zed... IMO of course!
