  1. Sure someone did an install on here recently.... Nice bit of kit. Found it for £650 elsewhere.... But as Ian said, good for the standard slot as its too deep for the cubby.
  2. Telling porkies mate?!?! Just found this in your photobucket account....
  3. Nice one. Let us know how you get on. What performance mods does your car already have? I visited them last week and they were very friendly. Will be interested how the unichip goes. Here you go, mods are on this post viewtopic.php?f=20&t=17991&start=15 page 2 Will be putting up a full detailed report once its done! And then one a few weeks later! M
  4. Cheers Andy You might notice they are super imposed on the pic Rob... at no point were they anywhere near my car!
  5. On buying, PM Chilli Red on here... there now looking after Envy or call Sarah on 07765406665 Careful Gary will take about 10 hours to fit it and probably blow your engine in the process..... That was a joke BTW! Gary is a top bloke and knows what hes doing under the hood of a jap car shouldnt take him too long!!

  9. If you go to Mr Fastner they have the polishing kits Dan and I have. Its worth getting a drimmel too for the tight spots.... As Dan showed me on the weekend its all time and patience... the results will shine through!
  10. Envy will have stock soon according to Sarah. Or, do as I have done... Invite a relative or friend (They are normally of the older generation) round to the house who has a Honda CRV or a few other honda models, sit them down with a cuppa, run outside, switch the ariels over and come back and chat about what they used to get up to in the war for a bit. Oh and when they leave and get in the car agree with them how better Radio 2, 3, 4 or classic FM suddenly appears And its not stealing... your doing them a favour and the zed ariel looks so much better on a fake x fake.
  11. Nice Big paws so hes going to grow a bit... You seen the ma and pa? were they big?
  12. Crikey, that is big! Well it's not quite that big....but two pats should do the job R If they do it will it stop swirls? well pat sharps head may be an efficient method of drying..im sure their is a fair amount of absorbancy in that bad boy mullet, will leave a streak free shine. R Looks like hes gone and ruined his chances of part time work now... Looks like we need to find another Pat....

  14. It's just simple science bud. Dragging anything across the car will leave some sort of mark. The point with a rubber blade is that anything trapped under it will be dragged and could mark the paint. The blade itself is guaranteed non scratch, just not the stuff it traps! As for cloths coming out of sealed bags, no-one is saying that, just that the towel ABSORBS the water and any residual dirt as opposed to moving across the surface. It's the same theory as the sponge vs. wash mitt. I appriciate what your saying mate but even when patting down you will push the dirt into the paint / wax (even if there is hardly any there) and then when it comes to washing your going to drag the dirt along with the mitt... cause the dirt is more firmly fixed to the car its not going to pick up in the mitt like it would if it floated... Or even when using a wax or polish after the dirt would get picked up in the foam applicator... If there is still water on the car in "pools" the dirt would / could / may be in a state of suspension thus when wiping with the blade it will be carried away with the water.... When thinking about it, 2 swipes with the blade clears the roof, 3 swipes on the bonnet, 1 on each side and the spoiler and job is done so no chance of swirls (but with your argument a chance of a slight scratch....) Doors and other bits dont need doing cause of using the vario lance. The whole car is then dryed with one waffle that dosnt get really wet as most of the water has gone. Am not saying either way is right or wrong, just saying that any way of washing can cause issues but with the amount of stone chips we all pick up and the other weather conditions / state of roads in this country a few microscopic marks arnt going to worry me!
  15. Am at Japfest on the 16th with a few others and then off to wales on the 17th so see you there!
  16. Bloomin hell!! Didnt realise there was that many water blade haters on here!!!! Is there an alarm that goes off when wipers are mentioned Have had no issues on using it myself. Its one of these so not the same as the one posted. Its a Hi-Tech one. Autoglym Hi-Tech Flexi Water Blade The Autoglym Hi-Tech Flexi Water Blade incorporates amazingly flexible structure together with a patented wiping design to rapidly remove rinse water from a vehicle’s bodywork after washing. Just a few wipes with the blade cuts drying time in half compared with traditional methods. Safe on all types of paintwork, plastic, rubber and glass. The medical grade silicone rubber blade is guaranteed non-scratch. And guaranteed... So you got to belive everything that these guys tell you!! After all there not in it to make money buy selling new products are they
  17. Yes it is chris? Why? Car has been washed twice, no dirt left on it so no worries! It gets clayed about once every other month so the chances of any real engrained dirt on the roof, bonnet and trunk are pretty slim.... No marks as yet! Hope you use a brand new drying towel that comes out of a hermetically sealed bag that has been checked by tiny trained dust mites that have removed every partical of dust from the towel before its sent to you!! And then never use it again cause patting down dirt into a towel isnt going to hold the dirt there again is it You drive yours every day dont you? Thought a few small particals of dirt on your car under a wiper blade would be the least of your worries
  18. I use an autoglym wiper thing to start and then move on to a megs towel, no worries for the whole car... and when its an inbetween wash thats finnished with quick detailer, the QD likes a bit of moisture on the car, gives a better shine IMO. Or if I am feeling affluant then I run the leafblower over it for a few mins to run the excess water off and get the water out of the panels...
  19. Here you go... Nismo specific! http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/350z01/50-1119N
  20. Call Envy, they have them in stock so no tax costs. Where are you based? If its in the south then get to envy and am sure they will help you with fitting. Also helps in finding out about the car and what does what and where when you fit it yourself! Fitting should be between an hour and 2 hours. We did one at a car show last year, no special tools, spanners only.... The only think you may need is a torque wrench but you can do the "tighten with a gloved hand" approach...
  21. Am guessing that on the next show her eyebrows will have been attacked with a hedge trimmer and her barnet will have been sorted... Or will they get her to keep her image just for now to add to the "interesting twist" factor...
  22. Yeh I think Ersen.o had one or two up for grabs
  23. Looks like it does the same as my Camp2... Interesting to see it can clear codes
  24. you copuld try holdcroft, but I think the nissan ones may be a little tight on the nismo kit. I know mine is on my chargespeed kit. The ones on ebay (i think its the covercraft ones) may be a little baggier...
